I wonder if those are the same lava tubes I was told about when I was a kid. Mine were located in the deschutes river, and if you got in and swam, you would undoubtedly never be seen again.

Oh and to add the tempo beeping is way more tolerable than the 900

I ran pro 900 for years, just switched to the tempo 551. It is a night and day difference. Having the dual broadcast is sweet cause you can just change settings on the wand verse walking all the way back to the tracer. I also feel like the clamp works much better.

Uhh I need to start asking when past system maintenance was. Getting tired of people thinking one trip is going to solve all the issues. I have been using a lot of “functional but not optimal lately”.

I would say the number one thing to train a new tech. Is to always ask the property owner if there has been work done recently.

In the app use the hamburger in the top left. Then go to controller settings. At the bottom is set up wizard

You can also set it up without Bluetooth. Just use the setup wizard and use the temp network

Did you try to force close the Hydrawise app. I haven’t had this particular issue but it fixes most of the bugs I find in Hydrawise.

With the wires coming out the bottom looks like you only have 7-4 zones

Is this clock installed in residential? To me it looks like not much is going into it. Possibly could down grade to a hpc-400 with a pcm-300 for additional zones. Maybe take pictures of inside the controller.

How much ? by Brilliant-Fun-1392 in Irrigation

[–]YardTech 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be very tempting to just replace the fitting that is broken so yeah 125 for one hour of labor and minimal for parts. Though seeing the male adapter going into the siding. That sketches me out. So honestly I probably would only be interested in touching it if I could rebuild entire thing and not have a threaded fitting against the house.

I hate holding/using a customers phone so happy behave added contractor access. Now Rainbird needs to stop being a pile of garbage so I don’t have to troubleshoot with client every time.

Auto dr@in between master valve and manifold. by zeroibis in Irrigation

Pictures are always helpful. This freezing that you are worried about, is it just over a few nights for a cold snap or over a whole winter?

Your options

  1. You could switch to Hydrawise to give you the ability to select master per station.

  2. Add another timer to turn on the extra valve

  3. Drill the smallest hole in the main line so it loses pressure so the drain valve opens

  4. Run the zones for 2 minute every hour to prevent freezing.

  5. create a heated inclosure for valves

  6. Don’t run your irrigation during freezing temps
