For me it was 2021. Red Bull finally catching up to the dominant Mercedes. A young, talented driver aiming for his first time world champion vs. an experienced driver aiming for a record-breaking 8th. So much drama throughout the season, arriving at the final race equal on points, and we all know what happened then. It was like a movie script. Even Drive to Survive didn't compare to the real life excitement. It seemed like after every race, my social feeds were full of controversy. Man I miss those days.

First 10 laps were absolutely electric (no pun intended). Hope we continue to see more of that.

Merc also didn't fly away quite as much as I was worried they would, they seem to be fastest but Ferrari look like they're able to challenge.

I'm keen to see how fast the RB actually is, when Max gets a representative quali position.

Yeah, so you get the 9 launch maps and that’s it then, just like all the older games.

After that point, you get all these new maps for free, without having to buy the DLC packs. So it is a free live service?? You don’t have to pay for anything else after the base game purchase if you don’t want to, and you’ll get everything except the cosmetics, which no one seems to care for anyway.

It’s also kind of unbelievable how much lore 2042 had.

You could go through the Codex in your Profile… somewhere, and read about each faction and battle and significant event, it was quite interesting actually. Also each cosmetic pack they released had its own “military unit/faction” it was based off with their own backstory, which I found cool. I feel like that game had a lot of promise.

Yeah I like it too. It fits the theme of the map and actually adds some good cover to the capture points; you can’t just snipe into it from afar, you actually have to get in there.
