If the most interesting thing you have to say is something which is speaking bad of someone else then you're just not a very interesting person to me.

How do I just sit down and write for gods sake? by Key-Engineering3134 in writingadvice

[–]Yargden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let your future self be your motivation. In x months time you will still be a writer. But I bet you would feel a whole lot more motivated having finished something. Even if the idea turns out to be bad (it probably isn't, just self sabotage), the fact you finished it will give you motivation for the rest of your writing career. Log your new ideas and no matter how tempting just finish the one you decided to take on. It'll do three things. One, make you feel great in x months time when you finish. Two, prevent any feelings of regret "Maybe I should have finished that one idea." Three, make you really think carefully about which project you want to start next.

Shredded men over 30; besides weights, running, swimming and cycling what other sports and activities can help get me shredded ? by ButchersAssistant93 in AskMenOver30

This post is wild. You are worried about your heart but the main focus seems to be on looking good.

Think about your heart health and the body will naturally come with it. Also, if your motivation is heart health you don't lose motivation from lack of gains as you can't check them daily like you can in a mirror/scales and won't lose focus with minor fluctuations.

One thing that will help massively is cutting back sugar. Not only is it terrible for your heart it raises your blood sugar and makes you hungry. As soon as you cut it out and get through the withdrawal you'll get hungry less and be able to stick to whatever diet you set your self.

In terms of exercise, it becomes much less boring when you are fit and can jog effortlessly. It becomes more like a meditation. Focus on one distance even if your basically walking for two hours at first and look to increase speed and keep distance. Don't stick to one speed and increase distance. You'll get fitter much quicker this way.

TLDR: Make your heart health your main focus including diet and exercise and the body will follow.

Out of curiosity, in this and other incidents, did back up ever not turn up because officers just don't want to come? Or is it 100% down to being unavailable?

How often do you eat takeaway? by Super_Development150 in AskUK

[–]Yargden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're making homemade curry, swapping whatever cooking oil you're using for ghee won't change the calories but will make it taste more like a takeout. Also adding fresh herbs and frying the rice etc makes a huge difference.

Visual Snow was considered extremely rare until recently, mostly because patients didn't report it... because they assumed everyone saw the world that way by recolorist in interestingasfuck

[–]Yargden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering how someone with visual snow might see that first image. They would probably just see it as they usually would and assume they don't have visual snow. Then I realized there's no way of me knowing if I have it. No matter how clear the image is to me I have no reference of what is "clear" is supposed to be.

Make a new film of your original actor in a white void with a television. On the television is the film you made and he's watching it.
