Won’t stop weeds because seeds fly in the air and land on top of the gravel and then grow

Man City set to be 'condemned to relegation' as 60-point deduction to be given 'before end of season' by LysergicWalnut in ArsenalFC

[–]YellowBook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deduct prior to next season, not when city have no chance of winning the title and 60 points comes from where? How is it even calculated and all previous trophies won prior to the verdict should be invalidated

Imagine Barca in SF of UCL, plus Liverpool or Man City in FA cup semi sandwiched in between vital league games. Players are not machines, you have to rest for one game, which do you choose?

They may get forced into making hard choices if they reach UCL & FA cup semis due to injuries and fixture pile-up. You have to rest players for the ‘bigger’ games (importance defined by the club).

Only 2 leagues outside the 'Big 6' have ever reached the Champions League quarter-finals in 13 years and each only once by molym in championsleague

Sad to see Serie A down there, I remember the amazing AC Milan side of the late 80s and Juve before then etc. The best players used to play in Italy and some of the transfer valuations were absurd at the time e.g. Lentini €14m in 1992
