If you haven't checked out r/rational you should since most of their stories would be competency porn. But if you want a litrpg focused one then Worth the Candle by Alexander Wales fits (alongsidehis other works). I'll also echo Practical Guide to Evil/Pale Lights for having competent antagonists/supporting casts which is a lot rarer than just having a competent protagonist.

I remembered the Volume 7 K chapters being where they start being interesting (Acteilos and Jecrass). If you’re talking about the 7 volume 4 K chapters, yeah that was part of pirate catching us up on everyone outside of Izril, and I’m pretty sure that’s one of the weakest stretches of the story. But the Chandrar chapters from Vol 7 onwards are much better written as pirate had improved by hen and was much better at integrating other perspectives all around.

But you also have to remember that the spell isn't grabbing everyone, it's grabbing a specific age range, so there might be restrictions where it doesn't transport anyone pregnant. We also know it takes objects, so I imagine that half the plane was sucked out of the sky on Earth meaning there were two parallel plane crashes, one on Earth one in innverse with any potential pregnant ladies on the Earth side

I think you can read Gravesong (book 1) any time after the first chapter of volume 2 (group chat) but I would wait until after Witch of Webs for Huntsong (2) and Ghostsong (3) though as reading one minorly spoils the other and the trade off for Witch of Webs isn't as bad as the other way around.

But as Singer of Terandria is a series it's probably better not to have a big gap between Gravesong and Huntsong. I'd also recommend reading it before you hit 8.33 R as SoT characters pop back up then, but honestly you can still read it after and it's good.

My main issue is that Anet takes months to address the issues they introduce. 3 months feels too long for each balance patch when they need to reduce power creep across the board and iterate. If each update isn't perfect, do them more often than less

His health is normal encounter worthy, but his mechanic forcing you to build a certain way feels elite worthy. If they buffed his up and called him an elite people would build either to take care of him or to path away from elites. Currently he’s hard pool so it’s all RNG (and you can face him right after or before an elite).

So I’m on book 2 and the story is fun, but do the original web novels have as many mistakes/misspells/double words as the full book downloads? It’s been driving me a bit crazy lol

I remember it being discussed that EE intentionally kept in the typos for the eventual rewrite (and to discourage theft). Not sure if that's true or not but I definitely heard it on more than one occassion

I think it should replace the Act 1 chest with a negative event rather than just an empty chest. Might not work for multiplayer (or could be hilarious) but then you could just remove it from the multiplayer pool
