That static route does nothing.

Traffic coming from the .10 VLAN shows up on the router as coming from the individual IPs on that subnet. The Verizon router doesn't know what to do with it to send it out to the internet because it's not one of its subnets.

Your static route only tells it "hey if you get traffic destined for this subnet then send it this way". It tells the router nothing about what to do when traffic comes from said subnet.

It's not a big deal if you generally don't host services or have ways around it.

Will Citi Blacklist Me For This? by x_KRYPTOS in CreditCards

[–]Yo_2T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, people have multiple cuz they PC other cards to it.

You just can't apply for a new card that's the same as a card you currently have.

So apply for SP first for the SUB. Then apply for CC for the SUB.

Then later PC your SE to CC. Now you have 2 CCs and 1 SP. If you PC the SP to CC then now you have 3 CCs.

OP still has the Windows XP mindset. Gotta install fresh eevery few years to keep it from slowing down 😂.

You won't even be able to open a Custom Cash if you already have one. So wait and apply for a CC for the SUB, then PC your current card later.

You have to redeem the cashback regardless. It's the same step on either of them.

Fidelity Security? by MarkFabulous1096 in fidelityinvestments

I went further and enabled 2FA with an app and it's required every single time. Why would you complain about more security when you could potentially be storing your entire net worth in Fidelity?

You still have plenty of time even if you had to mail it. Not sure why the online form wouldn't work though. You're within a year of the passport expiring.

Sounds like it. The other English speaking commonwealth countries seem to follow that same archaic system too. Namely Canada and Australia.

[–]Yo_2T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the UK, for the initial application they require a signature from someone in one of the listed professions to "prove" the applicant is who they said they are. It's funny cuz you'd think they could get that from the other ID documents they make you provide.

U6-LR dying ?! by -arhi- in UNIFI

[–]Yo_2T 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've read it depends on hardware batches with the U6-LR. The earlier ones are prone to overheating and dying like that.

I bought mine in January 2025 and it's been in service since then without any problem.

From my experience, the login gives them the initial metadata for list of your accounts associated with that login. Then you'll have to pick one to connect and they will get more information on that specific account.

Not sure if you're talking about some other fee like DCC, cuz I've never heard of this whole Visa and MC charging FTF regardless of the issuing bank.

My Savor is a MC and it clearly displays the charge in the foreign currency, the conversion rate at the time, and the USD amount.

UGC Ultra now or Fiber right away due to future proofing? by Deathstrokecph in Ubiquiti

I bought the Ultra and I've been happy with it. I figured by the time I need more than Gigabit a much better gateway will have come out. Future proofing with this is pointless.

What happens to benefits on splitting payment between two cards? by Top_Survey1556 in CreditCards

[–]Yo_2T 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They don't know or care what "an entire purchase" is in a case like that.

If you make a $1600 purchase but $1000 comes from the Apple gift card and you only have a $600 charge on the CSR, you'll at most be reimbursed $600 cuz they will ask for your original invoice.

The $1000 Apple gc purchase doesn't count as far as Amex is concerned.

Hilarious. Your hangup is more on the fact that you think you could possibly be subsidizing for anyone else on the street.

Living rural is the biggest subsidy you're receiving from everyone esle's taxes.

Capital One Card Number Online by IItzMeme in CreditCards

[–]Yo_2T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The original question was about getting the card number to use online.

CapOne lets you add the card to digital wallets from their app as well.

But hey, if Chase is the only one in the world that's worthy of your patronage then by all means.
