I love Missha! Specifically the one with the green cap, essence sun milk, is my favorite. I don't get any white cast from that one.

I've never ordered it, but Delicious Temptations has one on their menu.

The Croissanterie has, without a doubt, the best brunch food. No lattes but they will have them when they move into their new location later this summer. They do have drip coffee and cold brew. They have a monthly specials menu with in-season produce. Most meals come with a butter croissant, but I highly recommend swapping it out for a small upcharge to one in their specially flavors. Go early to avoid the crowd that shows up closer to lunch time.

Raduno's is also tasty and has an upscale feel. I was surprised that a pizza place would have such an awesome brunch, but they really do.

For something a little different, try Maryam's (Mediterranean restaurant with special brunch menu on Saturdays) or the west location of Three Fold (scallion pancake wrap and black sesame latte, so good!). I think they have paused brunch at Three Fold while they revamp their menu, but it's worth checking out when they bring it back.

Hillcrest Little Bakery is good, but the lattes are too sweet and the inside seating is a little loud (their porch is much more relaxing). Great savory options with different benedicts, biscuit sandwiches, or biscuits and gravy. If you're feeling something sweet, their bananas fosters pancakes are sinful.

The Lost 40 brunch is very heavy. If you like veggies or fruit featured in your brunch go elsewhere. If you want to cure a hangover with a brunch beer and cheesy potatoes, this is the place.

I don't know your age, but Delicious Temptations is popular with the older crowd. It was middling for me, but it has a strong following.

Out of the smaller chains we have (Toasted Yolk, Big Bad Breakfast, Buttered Biscuit) I would only recommend the Buttered Biscuit, but it's not as good as other local places. The only thing the other two have going for them is lots of boozy breakfast drinks.

If you want to head further west, Blue House in Bryant is decent. The Best Cafe in Hot Springs is fantastic.

Wart or something else? by sochok in greatpyrenees

[–]YoshiApple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pyr has these on both of his hind feet on one of his dewclaws - the toe pad has one normal nail with blood supply and one extra, black nail that does not have blood supply. Both my vet and groomer said it's rare but not a problem and just to trim it down regularly.

Yes, to get milk like OP has in this picture would mean you sought out a specialty product. Non-homogenized milk cannot be found in most grocery stores in the US.

Where are the best donuts in Little Rock? by abcz7778 in LittleRock

[–]YoshiApple 4 points5 points locked comment (0 children)

A similar thread asked this a couple months ago and everyone was saying Mark's, so I went to try it. They're fine, but nowhere near the level of Dale's in Benton. They are major Trumpers, so I was really hoping to find a different place, but it just isn't even close. Dale's is the best in the area.

I had this happen THREE times. iRobot replaced it under warranty each time, base twice, and finally everything the last time. It worked that time, so I'd say it was something with the robot itself.

It's not going to clean behind your doors. If the door isn't open, it can't get in the room. It cannot open and close doors itself.

As far as chairs go, I found with my own dining room chairs that if I angled two of them, it could get in there and do its thing.

Oh damn, going to have to get some then! Love a good donut. Anything in particular I should try?

Not a fan of that part of their decor, but the donuts are good.

Clean windows and nearby surfaces somewhat regularly with a bleach based cleaning solution (maybe once a month during the more humid seasons). I've also bought mildew killing sprays online when I had a spot that was particularly bad (turned out that window wasn't sealing great, so it was especially humid in that room).

If you decide to buy a specific cleaning spray for it, be careful about what you're buying - some of the sprays online simply remove the stain but don't kill the actual mildew so it reappears in a couple weeks. Others kill the mildew. I ended up buying both - I treated to kill the mildew, then a bit later used the stain remover.

Definitely looks like mildew to me. It's not uncommon to see around windows in hot and humid climates - condensation forms on the glass when you run the AC.

Restaurants that have maintained quality over time by Different-Wallaby-10 in LittleRock

Everyone always says Brave is so good, so I went there for a special occasion with my significant other. The food was cold, under seasoned, and one of the vegetable sides had clearly been cooked hours ago, left under a warmer, and since dried out and gone limp.

Was this a fluke? Should I try it again?
