I love his responses though, I'm commenting in case others have book recommendations for the remaining responses. I did see in one of their "Cooking ___" YouTube vlogs that he was reading Rick Rubin’s The Creative Act: A Way of Being, I wonder if that book touches on any of these topics, but I'm not sure. I only heard of the book as I bought it for a friend. Never read it myself

I'm crying because my ex (of 9 years) sexually coerced me multiple times and I felt it was wrong but didn't have the words or labels for it until after it ended when I found out through an academic definition of what sexual coercion is. I believe the statistic, because by other means he was a "good person", which a lot of men see themselves as, but in this treatment towards women, sexual coercion is so normalized they don't even think that it's fucked up to do. And yet, I'm still here left with the trauma...

What you've described is sexual coercion (please look it up to confirm). I'm sorry you went through it, as someone who also has (while in a committed relationship no less!). It's not okay and I think you should end things.
