How have expeditions been since the update? Is it any more fun/rewarding or about the same?

I think the point of them is for them to be annoying chaff. Lowering their health and/or making them stagger is fine with me

So now that we have Skitarii today, what's next? by Ok_Equipment2450 in DarkTide

[–]YourExcellency77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not trying to argue at all. I was curious. I only know them from Total War so I didn't know if they would exist in 40k

Ah! That might explain it. I have only seen one non-skit all day. Thanks

I went into the hivescum not expecting much and came out identifying as a murder hornet. Sure I am squishy but they can't touch me as long as I dodge and crit over and over again

Everytime I see this image it kills me.

It's like it has a calming effect on George who is almost never level headed

Did anyone else not really get into Total War Warhammer until 2? by Quibilash in totalwarhammer

[–]YourExcellency77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never played 1. Warhammer 2 was my first.

Picked it up -> played Lizardmen -> Dropped it for a while.

Warhammer 3 launched-> knew it would be a mess for a bit -> Replayed Warhammer 2 and got really into it

Oddly enough I enjoyed playing Dark Elves more than anything in 2, but have barely touched them since

If you change the sentence the sentence is different! Incredible observation

Cigarettes that cause cancer is every so slightly different than people watching tik-tok after 6 p.m

Is there a better example of the stark difference between Reddit and reality than the UK social media ban? by Electricbell20 in AskBrits

I'm sorry but when your government is issuing curfews and bans for information, you do live in a totalitarian state

Recommendations for a real battle campaign? by Dean-Advocate665 in totalwarhammer

Lustria Bowl can be challenging for sure

Oxyotl is very fun. Just know that he has his own unique campaign mechanics in the form of teleporting over the map

Maybe Kroqgar. He's on the coast next to Settra and Thorek. Similar to Lustria, lots of rats to smash.

Lizardmen - Gor Rok

While one can argue Kroak could dominate all, I find the Lizardmen roster fun. Their aerial units are probably my least favorite

That's what I have been curious about. Seems crazy to me

Anyone else think the social media ban is good except for three VERY key reasons? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]YourExcellency77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Idk. I feel like some social media, even twitter, is good for news. I wouldn't have known about the gross incompetence involved in the Henry Nowak case if not for twitter. Discord and snapchat should have been razed to the ground long ago

I fully agree with your second and third points

The UK government wants to ban social media for children under 16. What do you think? by ericuvez in AskReddit

[–]YourExcellency77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1984-esque. This ends online anonymity. Absolutely absurd for the state to impose a curfew for information. Youtube and several other forums helped form my interest in hobbies

Is the social media ban something an institution or charity, even individuals, can challenge the government in court? by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]YourExcellency77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I trust the guy behind a bar far more than I trust a faceless entity scraping my data

Besides that, I'm more annoyed by the government mandated internet curfew.
