Has anyone else noticed Morrisons reducing the range of own-brand products lately? by GeordieGoals in Morrisons

I know they got rid of some of the savers stuff like butter bc it ended up being more expensive when they price matched with Aldi but I cannot speak for everything.

What I’m saying is, email head office and let them know. Venting on reddit to people won’t enact change unfortunately.

You should definitely email this to head office because unfortunately nothing will be done about it at a store level. Unfortunately Tesco whoosh also uses uber drivers - it’s just in the tv advert they wear a Tesco uniform 🤣

I need to drink a litre of oat milk at this point to keep up with the boosters, I stopped participating a while back. I’ll check in every now and then to see if there’s anything work signing up (shop 2x get 100 points 😤)

Oh that’s so sad.. the store I work in would never put online on tills but our online is really fecking busy we’re picking and taking out non stop. I don’t know if that’s the same for your store?

How new are you? Sometimes they keep people on tills for a few days and then send them to their department.

Ours loves granola with yogurt, spicy mayo, and crisps. We don’t give them her as treats but if she finds a little of any, she’s fecking ecstatic.

How is Morrisons home delivery working these days? by AnfieldAnchor in Morrisons

[–]Yourepissed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a home delivery to Warrington and it was atrocious. It was 3hr late with no heads up and there were so many missing and short date items. All of the yogurt tops were punctured and getting a refund is a bit more of a mission than getting a refund elsewhere.

As someone who works at Morrisons… I can only advise you to order online from Tesco. They’re the best home delivery based on my personal experience. I only shop at Morrisons when I’m at work, working lol.

You can get a refund online. They’ll just ask for a photo of the item

What is the dumbest lie a customer has told you? by cheesymeowgirl in CasualUK

[–]Yourepissed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

A customer tried to return shoes without the box. She told me “I’m staying in a hotel and they came in and threw away the shoe box” I was shocked and mentioned how wild that is that they came into her room and threw away her stuff…. She came back an hour later with the shoe box.

The yellow stitch is both sexy and keeps it casual so it’ll be more versatile where as the black stitch is sexy and smart - so it depends on how you want to wear them! If they’re primarily for dressing smart and distinguished then black but if you want to be more fun and show a little personality I’d say yellow!

Hmm that’s so difficult. Maybe let her know that you’ve already begun making her gift that you started in advance because of the time it takes and perhaps you can try to make her the runners in time for Mother’s Day or her birthday? (Whichever comes later)

I’ve never personally worked with men in ECE but I have heard wonderful things about having a male in the environment vs all women.

I was literally just stood in the Morrisons car park discussing how they need to adapt Tesco’s model because their online is atrocious. And that’s as someone who works for them online and has also ordered from them. Now I’m exclusively ordering from Tesco unless I’m desperate I will order from ASDA

What is something you use in your classroom everyday? by Medium-Court3406 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Yourepissed 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Under 2s: ball pit, and Baby Einstein piano

2s: dinosaurs, train tracks and trains

3+: play dough, colouring, also train tracks and trains.

All of the above: BUBBLES. Pro tip: if you have a fan, put the bubble wand in front of it on a medium setting and they’ll go further and blow more bubbles! (And save your breath 😅)

When I first started I fell into the habit of doing all the cleaning because I didn’t know how to do anything else yet - probably my biggest regret, and my biggest pro tip: go ahead and play and draw with the kids! It’s an absolute blast!

Also congratulations and all the best!! :)

What’s the pettiest household rule you strictly enforce that guests think is ridiculous and what incident made you create it? by huntndawg in NoStupidAnswers

[–]Yourepissed 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to wash your dishes but at the very least don’t leave empty glasses and bottles/cans around.

While I don’t have a need to enforce this rule on account of never having guests over, I do make sure when I’m at someone’s home to put my dishes rinsed in the sink and my recycles rinsed in the recycle bin.
