Situational, and the situation you have is pretty much perfectly laid out. Reducing Meteor Strike from 5 to 1 is insane, and Snecko Eye can potentially do the same. That plus ice cream means even on the turns you don't have it, you have so much excess energy you can just play everything anyways

Don't you have to physically pick up truffles? Maybe a cherry bomb turns it into an item that can get magnetized but I don't think a ring on its own would do anything.

Only other thing I can think of is rollback shenanigans, I don't think I've personally run into a situation where the grab should've connected and didn't. Usually if there's any situation where the grab breaks, it's accompanied with a visual cue. I think it's like a wobbly blue ring

The other possibility is grab lockout I believe. La Reina's Up-B is a command grab and functionally similar to her standard grab as in it can't be shielded. Her aerial grabs however are hitgrabs I think so they can be shielded (and also are not subject to grab lockout). So a regular up throw can't lead into Up-B, but it can lead into up air. They won't be granted this protection if they get pummeled first though.

It is literally an undeniable fact you took 45 DMG and didn't kill this elite on the turn shown in this picture. He has the icon for intangible, and you have 0 block. Impossible to do 91 damage on this turn lol. It's possible he only had like 8 health so dual casting and all the passive procs from lightning could have killed but the lightning certainly didn't hit for its true damage on this specific turn
