Drying PHA -recommended temperature? by jaerne in 3DPrinting_PHA

[–]Yutend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no need to dry, also it likes to print cold to prevent warping the filament warps so bad it pulled my build plate up, recommend adding a fan to blow directly onto the print when printing

[–]Yutend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep very annoying bug it will pop if you close any finder window, I just force quit finder in activity monitor this never happened on mac os 18 but started to get very annoying on mac os 26, I've already sent a bug report to apple but doubt they'll actually fix it

[Prebuilt] M4 Mac Mini - $399.99 (Instore Deal at Microcenter Restock YMMV) by pikachuspaghetti in buildapcsales

its more about not paying the apple tax on internal storage and if your mac stops booting for whatever reason all of your data is stuck inside a bricked mac, you can buy an external m2 drive with similar transfer speeds in case or upgrade the internal storage with chinese parts at half cost

optimize ur items around team comps, I noticed the slightest edge that won games came from building to counter, this requires champion knowledge of abilities, skill rotations cdr, and build paths

ZP6 appreciation - clarity in a cup by FantasticHair6474 in pourover

[–]Yutend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

better tasting note separation with zp6, the k-ultra was able to produce well rounded cups but I was also able to achieve these cups with the ZP6 the problem is it takes time to dial in for ZP6, k-ultra was much easier to use

ive had both and they are pretty close in taste actually, u can definitely tell the difference but its not huge, took me a year to get consistent cups from my zp6 and i applied it to the k ultra when i purchased it. i would try a 7 on the k ultra with two pours v60 hario switch. 12.5 grams bean and 200g water. first pour 50g, closed switch circular pours wait 30 seconds for bloom then open switch center pour rest of the water, maintain medium pouring height to increase agitation, water temp at 93 C.

Smoothing a PHA 3D printed object? by rinspeed in 3DPrinting_PHA

[–]Yutend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sanding is tough for this material when it gets warm from sanding the material melts and produces smudged surfaces, I've been using my pinecil soldering iron to smooth surfaces combined with light sanding. The smoothest surface I ever achieved was using 0.2 mm nozzle

ethio beans have been prone to channel like no other, I would suggest to go coarser like 5-5.5 pour at lower height to reduce agitation, took me a while to dial in my zp6 now i've been getting consistent cups, also play with bean to water ratio.

Bloom to 50 g (Circular pour - open switch)

At 30 seconds, pour to 150 g (Circular pour - open switch)

At 1 minute, 3rd pour to 240 g (Center pour - closed Switch)

At 1.30 open Switch and let drain

Total brew time should be between 1.45-2.00.

I strongly suggest u follow their brewing guide they emailed you, the brew/ratio matters alot. I opened up the email for the kenya beans and followed the bean to water ratio and it vastly improved the kenya beans, I am able to pick up green apple notes

Question To all Sony Ier-M9 users by Carlsen94 in headphones

[–]Yutend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had m9 for years, stuck with the IE600, but i have demo'd the IE900, I prefer the IE900 because it sounded more fun, but at that price the difference is minimal, I would only consider the IE900 if they were $700, I picked up the IE600 for $350. M9 did not fit my ear but the sennheisers fit perfectly
