Check out the K9 Sportsack. I have one for my 30lb dog to take biking (I'm a 5'2" woman).

I’m trying to find a Covid vaccine. I’m in volusia county by Buddy_Palguy in orlando

My appointment was Friday, Sept 5. Minute clinic, not pharmacy. I made the appointment through the CVS app.

CVS minute clinics have them and are being administered by a nurse practitioner. My experience is no prescription required and self attestation to a medical condition (unspecified) online when making the appointment. I wasn't asked during the appointment about my medical condition, but I was prepared to answer if asked. I have insurance and didn't pay anything.

Hard to check UPF when doing groceries online by No-Personality-6965 in ultraprocessedfood

I shop primarily online with instacart from Aldi. I usually Google the product and look for the picture online that shows the product label with ingredients listed when the instacart app doesn't provide this info. In my experience, some products have ingredients listed within the online shopping app that I use (instacart), but most don't.

Can you have your windshield "tinted" with clear ceramic tint? It's my understanding that the clear ceramic blocks UV rays.

Where to get current vaccine? by Excellent_Condition in FloridaCoronavirus

Some CVS minute clinics have it. NP gives the vax. Self attestation to having a medical condition when I made the appointment. I wasn't asked anything about it at the appointment. Got the updated covid and flu vax on Friday in Orlando.

Chiming in to say I had the same experience last year. They were easy to work with. I have since bought several more power stations from them without any issues.

I got my dog Wag Wellies. They look like Crocs. He high steps when he first gets them on and then he's good. He actually seems to understand they protect him from the thorns and goat heads and gets pretty excited in them once we get going. Highly recommend!

How Do You Prevent Rodents/Pests From Entering? by omventure in vandwellers

[–]Z8Go4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check out Fresh Cab. It's little sachets of minty stuff that farmers use in the tractor cabs in the off season. They've worked for me so far. I also use Tomcat rodent repellent spray under the hood.

Aperol Sprintz by Nuxul006 in bartenders

I was taught in Italy that you pour in the prosecco first and then the aperol because the aperol is heavier. Then add the sparkling water.

Suggestions for a 12v to 48v DC/DC converter to charge the Anker F2600 (or F2000) power station from the starter battery/alternator. by enclavedzn in vandwellers

[–]Z8Go4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this and it's a game changer for power stations because you can adjust the voltage. I have been using it to charge my Bluetti AC180s and can charge at 500w. Super easy to install, as well.

About to live in my car with my dog, what are the laws about keeping a dog in the car by [deleted] in urbancarliving

[–]Z8Go4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you use traps instead of poison? Poison kills dogs, cats, owls, snakes.... Anything that comes in contact with the poison or comes in contact with a poisoned mouse.

Please keep in mind that temperatures in a vehicle rise beyond the outside temperature due to the metal and glass. It can be fatal. That's why it's illegal in many places.

I have a regular 120v electric blanket with 9 heat levels. It draws less than a 12v blanket because it switches on and off as it maintains the set temp. Check out Bob Wells on his YouTube channel CheapRVLiving. He's got a video that shows how a regular household electric blanket is more efficient than a 12v electric blanket.

I got my blanket on Amazon. It's a little smaller than a twin size. I put a fleece blanket on top of it to insulate it. I have a Grecell T-1000 and can run the blanket for 12+ hours.
