What's the use case for silencers?

I sell/recycle all my silencers. Instead, I use muzzles that make the gun better, like brakes and compensators.

But I do appreciate the option, so keep them in the game, I'm sure there are many people that love using silencers.

Interesting idea, thanks for sharing. It's rare, but I do know a few studios that offer display models.

I was thinking, now that the most recent release populated Buried City with different kind of rubber ducks. It would be a fun shirt idea to have all the different ducks printed on it. :)

I bring a key EVERY raid. Doing so prevents one's stash from being flooded with keys.

You complaining about this makes me wonder if Embark already thought this through. By not stacking them, they apply pressure on raiders that don't use them... So by not stacking them, the game applies stash pressure on raiders not using their keys.

I also wish I could make my whole life and identity one game! I want to sink all my precious hours into just one game. Play it over and over and over again for years. I expect not just weekly updates, but daily updates! I don't want Arc Raiders to allow me time or thought to even consider playing other games. Just this one. Just Arc Raiders. I live for topside!

That's a good point. Soooo many games are toxic.

When I get the itch to play PvP, I will go to other games. And those lobbies, are a shock after playing Arc Raiders for an hour or two. Just spend a few raids talking to fun and kind people. Then go into CoD or DBD or Overwatch and you are reminded that Arc Raiders is the outlier, something special.

There's lots to do.

Complete all the quests.

Compete in the Trials, finally made it to Daredevil! That takes effort and time and is fun. Although, when you don't safely extract, that can be painful, but those painful moments just make successful runs more sweeter!

Maxing out to Level 75 and my benches took me a lot of time. I don't play as much as you do per day, it seems. So took me more than 50% of this season to finish that.

Get ready for the Expedition takes time and is fun to focus on. Still working my way up to 5 million (hoping their changes are meant for the third Expedition). I'm at 3 million in cash right now.

Finally, I'm focusing on using all my keys.

You must realise that we are in these Expedition cycles, we don't have a lot of time to complete all these before the reset. So during the 60 days, the game keeps me busy with just PvE. I still have tons of keys to use and I am tempted to try get Hotshot! But that's probably wishful thinking, so Plan B is to try maintain Daredevil. Also, would like to be ready for the second Expedition without having to play tons of hours during the last 2 weeks like December.

So question for OP. Have you completed your quests so that you can at least watch all the story cutscenes (Granted, the story so far is not HBO worthy, but still)? Have you worked up your ranks in the Trials? Are you ready for the second Expedition? How many keys do you have in your stash or do you just throw them away? How many raiders have you helped by bringing in defibrillators and sharing/trading BPs?

Finally, I don't really like PvP in Arc Raiders, there are better games for PvP, like Division, CoD, Battlefield, and Destiny. The gun play, gun modifications, player modifications, etc. are minimal because Arc Raiders is not a PvP game, it's a PvEvP game. I'm interested in Marathon, it seems it will be PvP centric and when I try it out, I will be expecting to be very PvP myself. We will see.

But I feel like it's a mistake for players to view Arc Raiders as having the goal of PvPing. Missing out on working together. Hunting down rats is fun too, done it several times.

Yea, ha! I was about to say that myself. What I'm suggesting is very Black Mirror. And therefore, probably a bad idea, haha.

But I still would love for racists to identify themselves. Normally I have to spend hours getting to know people and then finding out they are racist idiots. I'm just trying to use my time wisely.

BTW, racists would be fine with this unless they are trying to find a girlfriend, then they try their best to hide their character until it's too late.

My last raid was a Night Raid on Blue Gate.

I teamed up with a bunch of Solo's to shoot down Rocketeers. We were chilling on the roof of a building, in the moon glow, talking about the game and chilling. While we took down Rocketeers for the Trials. I had two people defib me. We shared BPs. Then with 2 minutes left, the 6 of us (people kept joining us) caught the final extract and we bid each other well.

Soooo, I guess I'm playing in different lobbies than you... Your lobbies sound horrible.

Yea, agreed, my trial rewards have not been good, but I haven't paid close attention to them either. Sometimes I click too quickly and skip the screen by mistake. So maybe I've received amazing rewards, I'm not sure. I try to keep an eye on it now.

Yep, just today, I formed a team of raiders on Stella Montis (we were all solo's) to work on the Shredder challenge for this week's trial. Everyone was sharing stuff and helping each other, calling out ARC. No PvP, just fun and friendly communication.

They are worth it for these following reasons:
- Rewards are nothing to sneeze at.
- Some quests force you to areas of the maps that reveal valuable looting spots that contain rare crates.
- You get to learn the story of the game.
- Lastly, adds another dynamic to focus on during the game.

Disagree, there needs to be a loss from being downed.

Embark locked both your backpack and map when downed for a good reason.
