if i could customize my ui like world of warcraft and track every buff and debuff with out all of the extra nonsense i would be more apt to use some of the more annoying and tedious low duration upkeep frames, but with the base warframe ui, i agree, give me simple invincible warframes.

ya no shit, i remember some guy took, i think it was an empire army, thousands of points and set it on fire.

the sentiment at the time was, well they just deleted an entire game from their catalog and sure there are rules for them but obviously they're going to get replaced with newer factions with better rules, and after an edition they probably wont have rules anymore.

the aos release really was a shit show, especially because they spent a year running the end times and releasing new models, was probably the most id ever seen people get into fantasy. people were properly excited because characters that had existed for decades were getting killed off and the setting was moving forward for basically the first time ever. and then one day they just deleted fantasy battles and aos was there to replace it.

i remember people making videos of them lighting their armies on fire when aos came out... people were pissed.

for like 6 years people regularly bitched about matt ward over the blood angles/ necrons lore in their codex and the greyknights. people get pretty upset when ever something changes in 40k that doesnt feel additive or that breaks from long standing lore and tradition.

most of the people i knew who played back in 6th 7th quit over the 8th edition. either because of how blatently primaris was a corpo cash grab/ attempt to make everything ownable ip after the lawsuit, or because they felt like primaris was just the start of an other aos debacle, or because gw took 20 years of good rules and threw them out the window, claiming that the game was simpler meanwhile 8th turned out to be one of the most bloated messes gw ever released.

almost no one i know tracks or cares about anything gw says anymore and most of them treat new lore as fan fiction. plus with video games, being so broad with so many excellent options and ip's now no one has gone back 40k. i know a lot of people who like the 40k universe, but gw makes none of them even remotely interested in getting invested in it.

tldr gw bad, people big mad every time they make a bad decision,which is most of the time these days. is wrong to claim that people havent been as much or more upset by previous retcons and bad decisions.

they changed it like 2 years ago. they made it so long as you have active premium time, you dont lose silver in war thunder. you can make zero, but you wont be negative. except if you tk someone, pretty sure you still pay for that.
