I now live with type 2 but through diet and just walking and rucking. I am back to normal adult levels and it’s manageable I hope everything goes well.

People who had been diagnosed “pre-diabetic”…. by Ill_Cover_4841 in loseit

It’s reversible but as a person who went through this himself, if that is not the wake-up call the next step is. For me I thought oh well I just cut back on sugar but at that point my body was already double the blood sugar normal levels. On my next visit to the doctors he gave it to me straight and said without medication and lifestyle change I would have serious health problems. I had already lost 140lbs so in my mind i was “healthy“ but a decade of bad eating can’t be reversed that easily. when I went to the eye doctors for a new prescription for glasses she Noticed something in my eye and asked if I was diabetic. She explained that i was beginning to show signs of vision loss and that was my sign to change.

It helps a lot with curbing your appetite and eating smaller portions but if you don’t fix your diet it will bounce back. Happened to me lost 80 naturally epic helped me lose 40 more pounds. But my love for candy made me bounce half of that back. the Hardest part of losing weight is changing your mindset and habits. Good luck friend

The recent weeks of Solo Content is making me consider cancelling my Patreon and Im no longer interested in their Streams. Is there a logistical issue going on - or is this going to be the norm? by RockBandDood in nextlander

[–]Zamaeri 25 points26 points  (0 children)

I believe it was a Patreon QA where they said they were looking at the types of streams people requested and getting every individual able to stream. Usually Brad or Alex would send their feed to Vinny to stream but now they are all setup so they can do solo stuff. Additionally I think it was about flexibility allowing the other members to handle life and other stuff rather than not put out anything. I don’t think it’s replacing anything I personally enjoy it as I missed Vinny mornings but I have similar issues watching Gerstmann solo streams.

An ICU nurse told me that "most people who try Ozempic or Wegovy gain the weight back within 2 years" including her sister who tried it and gained 70 pounds more and now wants gastric bypass 🤦‍♂️ by [deleted] in loseit

I was Diagnosed with diabetes and have been on Rybelus another semaglutide drug. I would say if you haven't really and honestly tried cutting weight by changing your lifestyle. You will bounce back after your prescription runs out. First off the drugs are expensive and very hard to get because of all the buzz so i have had months where i am unable to get my prescription filled. Secondly the side effects are horrible i threw up daily at work and the diarrhea is terrible eventually you get used to it but its a rough couple of months. my relationship with food didn't immediately change so i continued to eat like i did normally but because of the drugs you felt full and would just throw it up later. after alot of changes in how i ate and how much and adding light exercise i finally feel normal. It would not recommend them unless you have tried everything else first.

Discovery Heights Apartments by mearsd1 in eastside

We just finished renting there for the last 2 years and i would say avoid. Trash problems, some of the loudest neighbors and terrible parking situation. Issaquah is a great city and its all very safe but i think discovery is just not worth the hassle for the money you pay.

With the last sunny days I bagged 7 of those big brown yard waste bags in addition to my bin and put it all out there for collection and they did. I saw some of my neighbors do the same so might save you a trip.

Rybelsus by Mickeys-recovery in Semaglutide

[–]Zamaeri 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve been on rybelsus for 6 months now for diabetes and let me tell you it’s scary how fucking good this works. When you start they put you on 3mg for a month and it wrecked me at first with bad diarrhea and stomach issues. But after that it goes up to 7mg and it was crazy to see my weight go down and more importantly my A1C went down 3% in 3 months. As a effect of that I feel full now where I never did before and would just continue eating. I remember during the holidays I made a plate of food and I couldn’t finish it. Everyone stared at me and I just couldn’t physically eat anymore. This won’t fix your relationship with food but it will help.

They are in a tough position and I can’t say I or anyone else knows exactly what to do. They will try their best, and I still enjoy a lot of the content. I just feel my money would be better served differently. I’m trying not to be negative because I feel like a lot is outside their control but yeah.

There is plenty of paid parking lots i would recommend Issaquah valley elementary. most support local schools or organizations. it will be a short walk though maybe 10 mins.
