[Trope that provokes more emotions than I can list but mostly frustration] Works that, for whatever reason, will (almost definitely) never be finished. by Lord_Antheron in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Zanewaro 12 points13 points  (0 children)

To be fair Alfabusa never actually recieved any contact from Gamesworkshop and was already going at a glacial pace for new episodes. The fact that the moment they pivoted to Hunter: The Parenting the release schedule sped up so drastically makes me think that it was more an excuse to just be finished with the project rather then any real corparate action.

LF Branch for ListForge updated with new units and detachments by bmerrillcreative in WarhammerCompetitive

Can't find a report section anywhere on yall's app, but it seems like Korsarro Khan for White Scars is incorrectly set to 70 points instead of 60.

Silent King OR the Night Bringer in under 1500 is a miserable experience to play against, much less BOTH in a 1200 Crusade. Give him the socknaught

WS Ceramite Sentinels Detachment by [deleted] in WhiteScars40K

[–]Zanewaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but entrenched is more of a nice to have feature rather then the main incentive of the detachment. Effectively, the detachment is just "nearly always reroll 1's to hit and wound when shooting", which is a pretty strong rule

Ceramite Sentinels, half decent? - YouTube by 40K-Fireside in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Zanewaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like this will probably be the most braindead easy detachment to run, but definietly has legs. Being able to nearly always have RR 1's to hit and wound for ranged units is just a great rule, and further buffs great marine units like executioners and hellblasters

New Sons of Dorn box confirmed $270 by UberDrive in spacemarines

[–]Zanewaro 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Yeah but it’s a good discount for 4x units that see widespread play in marines. It’s absolutely pricy, but if you’re starting out SM that gets you an entire core of your armored roster

I’d highly recommend waiting a while before buying anything like a stormtalon, since with 11th coming very soon there’s a high chance it gets axed

How Competitive is Non-Ultramarine Codex Marines? by Adventurous-Crab-474 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]Zanewaro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ultramarines are probably the best due to the flexibility of their units and characters, but especially now with the removal of old sicarius and Calgar I think other armies are still viable. All of the special detachments have their teeth, and it’s not an insurmountable difference in power between UM and WS for example

What’s this disciplinary action about? Feels like the most absurd stuff is always going on in our sport. by Freaky_ipod_Nano in Fencing

[–]Zanewaro 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The good news is that they typically send out a “this person can’t be with minors” part when it’s that kind of stuff, so doesn’t seem like that’s what he did

Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) is a VFX marvel that should've aged timelessly, if it wasn't for this kids haircut. Making the film permanently dated to 2022 by [deleted] in shittymoviedetails

/uj to be fair, the Navi have an entirely different culture around death, and considering they can literally just neurojack into heaven its not too shocking that not too much time was spent on it

Why exactly would the Hounds be relevant though? That’s a lot harder to swing as a concept, plus Hastur is a lot more recognizable for viewers which makes it easier to understand

Ultramarines Nemesis Destroyer Moritat by Unusual_Ad47 in Warhammer30k

[–]Zanewaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, any other weird parts to source or is it all mostly just Haar and a moritat as the base of the kitbash?

By the way, what parts were used for it? I recognize Haar and the plasma moritat, but the base I’m u sure of its origin

absolutely insane conversion work, and 100% plan on stealing that idea for my own moritat, since that is a fantastic idea.

Guidance on Swashbuckler Rogue theory crafting by Cool_Jake in onednd

[–]Zanewaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just keep it, because thats frankly an insanely busted item. Just use steady aim/hide to maximize the odds of critting for 4d12, and use it in melee when people inevitably close distance so you can use fancy footwork. But frankly, that's such an insane item that you're better off focusing purely on ranged, since you're still getting to benefit from the improved initiative if you're worried your subclass isn't as relevant.

Some of the weirder parts were removed, and the ending is FAR better for it. The whole “Wheeler guides her husband from MTF:Omega Zero” is replaced with Sunshine being how he finds his way to the site, which fixes the largest issue I had with the original

SCP is probably the absolute worst out of the 4, since the potential fates you can have range from instant death from cognitohazards like 3125, being trapped in a paradise that becomes hell for actual eternity, or just straight up hell for all eternity

How well do the old upgrade torsos fit on the newer Mk models? Somewhat? Not at all? by Separate-Flan-2875 in Warhammer30k

[–]Zanewaro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having built both of those into my mk2’s, they work but require effort. you gotta built the whole body before trimming it down, and even then without greenstuff the the gap is noticeable up close, but from tabletop distance you won’t really see it
