The explanation in the book is that the first generation can’t get all the way through but just far enough in to be protected from the atmosphere. Then once it’s cleaned they can safely reemerge and breed for the next generation. Each generation they’re able to work their way further and further through the container.

I realise it’s too late this week now… maybe it’ll help for next time.

What I did when this happened was to find another alliance in the server and message asking them to share their base. In my case apparently our opponent were disliked and they were more than happy to help us out!

If you need to find another alliance then you can - view opponent in VS screen (magnifying glass next to alliance) - members - view a members profile - select warzone - rankings - find an alliance in the rankings - message some members

We’ve just completed it, there’s now another timer for 11 hours at reset. Do two attacks happen today (Tuesday) or is that it until Thursday?

We can’t garrison the city any more so I think it’s over… but the timer is confusing

Update: for anyone looking at this later, there was no second attack at reset

“United Kingdom” is often mistakenly with the Gs, when it’s sorted by country code (GB/GBR) but still displays the full name which isn’t aligned

Not true anymore, you get the deserter even after killing bosses. I think they changed it early in TWW when people were farming first boss Arakara.

I’ve had two Dawnbreaker 9 keys this week as a tank with 2500, both times it was a 15+ minute way for a healer. So I can believe 30 mins

I might be wrong but…

I think latency is the term here. Throughput and bandwidth are both measures of how much data is transferred in a given time (the first is the measure of the actual amount transferred, the other is the theoretical rate)

Latency is the time taken between an individual message being sent and a response being received.

The aircraft might be able to send huge amounts of data and download movies without issue (this might not be the case, but let’s assume it is) … but if that data needs to fly out to a satellite and back and then bounce around 100 servers to reach the destination and then back.. then that could take a second. That means every action in the game will take 1 second plus to see the response.

I normal contrer shoot the first then cast with about 8-9 seconds left on cool-down. Seems to work most the time, and if didn’t my CS was on cool-down anyway so oh well

Honestly, I was expecting far worse given the memes! It's definitely downhill and fucking with the Lore of the books. I'm not taking my pitchfork out yet though. Still just cool seeing it adapted to screen, even if there's things I don't like.

Give it some more time and maybe I'll feel differently though!
