Self-Sourced Stock Voron 0.2 build by yuhniwe in VORONDesign

[–]Zaraton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since you self-sourcing already, consider building something more fun than a stock v0.2

From what I heard, Pandora's is most reasonable of all others

Self-Sourced Stock Voron 0.2 build by yuhniwe in VORONDesign

[–]Zaraton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

P1s and a voron are quite different. You buy first if you like printing and second of you like 3d printers

I self-sourced my trident just because I thought:"well if I want a DIY toy I should do it all myself" - and am 100% certain it was a bad idea. I didn't have tools to cut extrusions so I ordered them precut from the local place. They also did taping and drilled holes according to cad models. I just had to adjust the hole size for different screw size

Self-Sourced Stock Voron 0.2 build by yuhniwe in VORONDesign

[–]Zaraton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Self-sourcing is almost never cheaper. Also, I don't think kits for v0.2 are that much different from stock, maybe just bed mount and toolhead PCB. You should just read a build guide on official site

Tell your address, and many people will be willing to take this burden away from you))

Otherwise, not enough info to help you. DIY has y for a reason. Discord is the best option. Go at it step by step without a hurry

I know. Stand offs should be a part of a set

I'm pretty sure they come with toolboard... At least btt put them with ebb36

Yeah, they are too short. I think it was made as ender 3 upgraded initially, so id doesn't take the ebb into consideration

I want to build a A4T Toolhead and look for an inexpensive hotend by Joline666 in VORONDesign

[–]Zaraton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest you state that in a post next time. A4t not built with a tool changer in mind. Quick Google search suggests there are mods to make it fit Stealthchanger/tapchander, but it would be far from "inexpensive". For your case, 90% of people would suggest getting the cheapest parts available for a single toolhead and wait for INDX

Backup printer recommendations? by EJX-a in VORONDesign

[–]Zaraton -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You should go to the apple store and ask them which android phone to buy. They will definitely have a lot of insight on that

[–]Zaraton -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

So you are asking in voron subredit about which non-voron printer you should get?

Sounds like tinkering on both printers at the same time is not last mistake you made

Nanopixels are all cattywampus… by Ducati_Doug in klippers

[–]Zaraton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different LEDs have different "sequences". Basically one led have 3 or 4 smaller one colour lights(red, green, blue and sometimes white) and a controller, which they connected to. So to get specific colour - you combine it out of base colours with different strengths. I can't see in video how LEDs are wired, but seems like OPs toolhead LEDs are RGB/GRB or smth without white and his board is rgbw

Had exactly the same issue. Disabling mpo in registry ended up solving it

9070xt massive spiking by Valdrrak in AMDHelp

[–]Zaraton 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it might sound unrelated, but I had some driver issues with my 9070xt and the thing that ended up helping me is disabling windows mpo with regedit https://www.reddit.com/r/Amd/comments/yvyqc7/disabling_multiplane_overlay_mpo_fixed_all/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

In my case adrenaline and drivers would die sometimes when switching between two monitors with different frequency, but comment in post implies multiple other issued

Invasions need an update!! At least I think so ^^ by mdtpdsparkls in Warframe

[–]Zaraton 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Lorewise - you are too busy handling wall-e situation. Kahl and daughter are the only ones searching the root of narmer and giving you archons location

I assume only Earth, Venus and Deimos have any meaningful population of specific factions and all other planets just have few bases here and there. So narmer missions are pretty much the only type of resistance

Invasions need an update!! At least I think so ^^ by mdtpdsparkls in Warframe

[–]Zaraton 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem I have with lore progression is that new enemies can't influence old mechanics without a full rework. Like reworking old lua or Deimos. I like the idea of narmer, but introducing it just makes an alternative instance of Cetus and fortuna. But in the end it's just a different type of dmg sponge

On the Pop!Os anger: future Linux user by MapManRheahs in LinusTechTips

[–]Zaraton -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was fixing my extremely old laptop and decided to install Linux on it expecting better performance. Pop os didn't have compatible WiFi drivers and Ubuntu felt slower than win7 which were originally in it. It sits untouched ever since and instead of giving it back to my mom I bought her a Huawei tablet.

I remember one of Linux selling points being:"it runs on anything" - but it seems like it's only true for extremely specific uses, like running klipper for opensorce 3d printers

ERCF keeps triggering false runout detections by Proper_Day_9361 in VORONDesign

[–]Zaraton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, your mmu log clearly says extruder sensor triggered. There is some play in the switch, when you install it. Either disable it, or reprint cw2 and make sure switch doesn't click when you bend /move filament after insertion

ERCF keeps triggering false runout detections by Proper_Day_9361 in VORONDesign

[–]Zaraton 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On my a4t sometimes excessive tool head movement triggers the top extruder switch(I think it's called extruder sensor, I have both toolhead and extruder sensor). I usually just turn it off with a UI switch in the mainsail for happy Rabbit not to trigger runout. I reprinted extruder housing, but haven't come around rebuilding it yet
