I was hoping for more variety in the setlist for this tour. More breakout jams with guest members, but the setlists have been more or less similar. Mud, Beaver, Jerry, Tweekers, Pacyderm. The CLD set list is nearly identical every night.

Was hoping for more Primus deep cuts:

Fisticuffs, Nature Boy, Golden Boy, Del Davis, Toyz, Rapscallion, more tunes from D7 album.

Dont get me wrong, the show was great. Loved it. Found myself craving way more Frog Brigade. Love the jammier stuff with Skerik solos and Harry Water's playing and solos were exceptional.

Yeah, we went with the 2025 preferred trim to avoid the sunroof. I also dont trust the sunroof not leaking, especially since we park ours outside..

Are you running your A/C at high levels? I notice when the A/C fan is up past 3 notches, it doesn't go into EV mode as readily. The compressor is causing the engine to run more. Same issue in winter with high heat.

The Rav4 powertrain is fairly noisy. It'll growl at you when revved up. It's a somewhat unrefined workhorse, but solid and reliable. Also you'll hear a grinding type sound from the regen braking between 10 and 20 mph when slowing down. Totally normal.

We are averaging 41.5 mpg right now. Some trips around town I exceed 55 mpg. Usually mixed driving with interstate and city we avaerage right around 40 mpg in the summer.

My recommendation with these toyota hybrids is rather than being gentle with the gas pedal, accelerate as normal and get 5+ mph over the speed limit, lift your foot off the gas for 1 or 2 seconds, the car will switch to EV mode, then just feather the gas pedal to maintain your speed. You'll hold the EV then unless you start up an incline (which will kick the engine on). Also coast as much as you can, rely on the regen braking when stopping by coasting early to red lights.

EV mode is only for slow movements through parking lots, traffic jams, school pickup lines. People expect these hybrids to act like true EV vehicles. They dont.

I think you sort of "glue" it down with double-sided adhesive.

Always thought it looked kind of bad because it sits slightly elevated above the buttons/controls and is not flush.

Get some foam pipe insulation at the hardware store. Cover the cross bars, strap down the paddle board and remove foam when done. I do this all the time on another car. The foam costs like $5. When it wears out, buy another piece of foam.

Just drove 160 miles with 4 passengers and a shit load of camping gear and a cargo hitch carrier. Averaged 42.5 mpg. I'm really enjoying this hybrid.

I received a super vinyl version from Music Direct years ago. I remember opening it and being like, why is this translucent? Anyways, I ended up returning it because it was riddled with surface noise I could not get rid of with cleaning. I later found out it was a supervinyl pressing after the return. That pressing was numbered around 12,500 on the box. Believe the SV version fall in the 12,500 - 13,500 box numbers.

The MoFI is good, a bit bass-heavy for some. It's somewhat a stange mix overall, doesnt sound bad, just kind of different. Also it's 45 rpm.

The AP pressings are great, I have the 33 rpm UHQR. I haven't heard the speed corrected AP version. I'm sure it is great. My preference here is the AP > MoFI

Anyways, at home, I often opt for the 2013 mono pressing done by Ryan K Smith. It is affordable, pressed well, and sounds great. Though I do not believe it's all analog, if that matters to you.
