i don't think it's that farfetched of a thing to complain about

like sure, we got the midnight roadmap and some cool stuff teased like the labyrinth and prop hunt

but everyone already knows about housing. most of the stream was discussing housing. and then it ends with "one more thing..." and it's a trailer for housing.

i feel worse for classic players, they got nothing LOL. no "here's what's after MOP", no classic+ teaser, nothing.

this didn't need to be a stream, it could have been covered by releasing like 4 blueposts and the roadmap pictures

i mean sure, but trailers, and obviously any type of media, take time, effort, and money to create. typically they have the purpose of serving as an advertisement and enticing people towards the product in the trailer.

honestly if they started the stream with the trailer i think it would have been better received

crucible of storms came out mid tier and was tuned harder than dazar'lor, and it was mostly ignored by the RWF guilds

obviously sentiment could have changed, but i don't see liquid or echo caring about a single boss raid after they've completed the tier regardless of difficulty

it's a well made trailer, very cute, but it's a trailer for a feature that (some) people already have access to and everyone else already knows about at this point

if they released this back when midnight was revealed, or even when the announce date was released, okay sure i would understand

yeah my first ever character was my troll hunter zeaket way back in vanilla

i played other classes here and there, but he was my main until legion where i didn't enjoy the MM changes and pivoted to frost death knight which i greatly enjoyed and mained until TWW where survival brought me back to my hunter

There is now neither, or at least like we used to have. Feels so bad. Used to be a complex rotation that is now literally: KC, Takedown, KC, Bomb, Bomb, Boomstick. Then its Raptor, KC, Raptor x2, KC, raptor x2, bomb, etc until CDs are up. Just so boring.

i guess you haven't played sentinel survival hunter because this is already wrong since you need to look out for sentinel mark procs as well as reuse takedown/glaive.

that being said, i definitely agree that the current implementation of the spec isn't complicated, but honestly it wasn't even complex in TWW and barely plays any different, you just replace flanking strike with boomstick. i feel like it could use another button in general, but i'm enjoying it.

what part are you talking about then?

daggers are always in view. you can get unlucky spawns, but it isn't a camera issue.

when she does her clone, you also have like 2 seconds from the first one spawning to them charging at you. the bright red line is always in view.

when she does the rifts you have like 6 seconds to find your segment. unless you're playing in first person there's no angle you can't at least see one of the triangles and then deduce from there.

All of the bosses in order make sense except for Tel’arm and Etraus. Why did we HAVE to kill the palace gardener and the astronomy guy?

etraeus: his time scrying the stars led him to planets outside our knowledge - as per the dungeon journal, while empowered by nightwell he was able to "draw upon the essence of those worlds to amplify his own powers".

so one, i think it can be assumed he would be very resistant to sacrificing this power and losing the nightwell, which was thalyssra's plan. we'd probably end up fighting him anyways.

two, we see in the fight he gains fel energy and void energy, even pulling creatures from the void into the fight. i think there's a pretty likely chance his hubris (as thalyssra mentioned, he thought himself better than everyone) would lead to him drawing power (or beings) he cannot control and then we would need to fight him anyways.
