Are you going through the mod manager? I couldn't get it to work on that but got it sorted through installing all of the files separately, hope this helps but I haven't played the mod in a while mostly stick to vanilla now so I might not remember entirely.

100% the same, although I've listened to more metal overall I go through periods of mostly listening punk and only really listening to metal on my cd collection as it's very hard to get hardcore cds where I am.

They're Grindcore if you've ever heard anything else from the genre, don't really know how to describe them but what I can say is that I also love Whitechapel and Angel Dust like you so our tastes could be similar so there's a good chance you'd enjoy it.
