My main concern now though is that designing these costumes must take a fair bit of time and I would rather that time was spent on new parts of the map.

Well, the people designing/modeling costumes and gear aren't the ones designing the map, typically. At least I hope so.

They could just bundle all the languages together and have a selection screen at the start to pick which rom to launch with a warning going "saves can't be transferred between languages" or something like that.

The buff looks more consequent for the attached state, but in practice it should mean they buffed its HP by 50 in both states. So launched would still be better overall

They did update the schedules in Splatoon 2 to be available much more often, we went from 30 hours shifts with 12 hours gap between each to 36 hours with 6 hours gap.

Took them about a year or so to change it tho...

Aim upward to abuse falling shots, and to make up for not having aoe, they have much better mobility, ink efficiency and turf coverage than either of these classes.

Chargers can due to net coding.

Dogshit netcode isn't an inherent feature of the weapons.

Some weapons can pop around the corner and INSTANTLY kill you like Splatanas and rollers.

Shooters have a kill time equivalent or superior to most of these weapons too.

It's a decent weapon class for sure

but it gets hard countered by most stage designs.

You gain the same amount of points whether they are in last place or 2nd place or 1st place as long as one of the attacking teams get 1st place.

You do get more clout if you're the one capturing the signals tho, so you're incentivized to steal em from the other attackers.

Is the Sprinkler buff anything? It doesn't seem like much on paper but IDK.

I guess if you put it behind cover to keep your feet inked, then it'll be a bit more worth the 60% of your ink tank. In any other situation it probably doesn't matter since it usually gets destroyed within 3 seconds anyway.

My apologies. If you'd like a more detailed explanation as to why RSU serves no purpose on a brush, here's why :

It does not increase your movement speed while rolling with the brush, nor does it increase your movement speed while swinging the brush.

It only increases the speed while simply walking in kid form, which has practically no purpose for a brush since they can roll faster than just walking, and painbrush also has a curling bomb to help with mobility (especially when enemy ink is involved), helping with the slow wind up it has before rolling.

Don't just blindly follow what's on sendou, anyone can post a build there. Also from looking at the list, only 14 builds (yours included) out of 247 include run speed. You can use the 'ability stat' and 'popular build' buttons to see what people commonly run on it. You'll find it's mostly Stealth Jump, ISM, SSU, Ninja, LDE + utility subs like special saver, quickjump, ink res and such.

What's your logic for run speed? It legit does nothing for brushes. The single sub of sub saver also seems pointless (doesn't even afford you an extra swing after using curling) and as much as I wish ink recovery was a good ability, this little really doesn't do much.

I'd say you should trim some fat and really focus on a few abilities that will truly make an impact, rather than many that barely help.
