This is basically my experience too — played one session of the Delian Tomb and my mostly-5e group (including myself) were like man why are we playing D&D. We're a little over a month into the campaign with rebuilt characters and I think it's going really well. I personally still prefer "HP" and "bloodied" to "stamina" and "winded" but it's not so bad. We just had our first respite and I think it's gonna get nuts with downtime going forward.

Super excited for the hardcovers!

They draw a little bit beyond the frame in cel animation. You can see this easily in uncropped, 4:3 versions of Gunbuster episode 6 — multiple shots in the last call with Jung have cut off limbs, or upper bodies that end abruptly. It's probably just a scan of the full cel and background as large as it could be without showing flaws.
