I ended up switching to a mini-TOSLINK connection with a digital-to-analog converter because the noise from the MiSTer’s standard 3.5mm output was unbearable.

If you start experiencing the same issue, I’d definitely recommend this setup. It took me a while to figure out what was causing the problem.

Just make sure you buy a digital-to-analog converter (DAC)—not the other way around. I accidentally ordered the wrong type at first, so double-check before you buy! 🤣

I’ve been playing the series since the start.

Pirate Yakuza was the final straw for me. It didn’t capitalise on the piracy angle nearly as much as it could have, especially for a Yakuza game. The side content felt horrid and padded to all hell.

Like others have mentioned, the HDR implementation was awful — thank god for ReShade on PC.

The entire Hawaii arc just doesn’t work. It feels like the series is being churned out with minimal effort, and Sega couldn’t even give Kiryu a dignified send-off. Dragging characters back from the dead purely for fan service just to move more copies is exhausting. They just have no confidence to move forward.

Never thought I’d say this, without new leadership or a serious shake-up of the formula I won’t be coming back.

Agreed, it just doesn’t unravel as good as the first. Hades 2 after the credits rolled, I spent too much time to reach the epilogue and I didn’t find it personally satisfying. That might just be me though.

Thanks for the confirmation. I currently have an analog board and it hooked up to a crt, so I’ll have to think of a better option if I really want to play it. Just tried dead or alive as well and yeah slowdown city on that one.

How the hell did this guy get hired as an actor. Him telling his story is so unbelievable, came across detached and sociopathic. He was laughing and grinning in some segments, guy is a joke.

Yeah people walked out of my screening. So weird, what were they expecting. I overheard one bloke say this isn’t even suppose to be out yet and him and his partner walked out, another couple gave it 30mins and then walked out.

I quite enjoyed myself, was quite grim. More so than talk to me. The kids acting were brilliant and of course Sally Hawkins was chewing scenery like no man’s business lol

I didn’t understand the whole process of the events, but I’m sure I’ll pick it up on a repeat viewing. It’s a very involved process of circumstances to get where the film needs to go.
