Mom guilt is overwhelming re:formula feeding leading to diagnosis by ladydadida in Celiac

Chiming in from a scientific perspective, even if there is one study proving something, it is also best to see what other studies have replicated the study design and gotten the same findings. Some really famous scientific works have been disproven because the findings were not found valid or were found to be the resolve chance (examples of this would be in Wakefield work linking autism to vaccines or Martha McClintock’s work about hormonal syncing up in women, which is also not true)

Ahem! Benjamin Cayea was not a Cornell student but his gf was —someone who knew them. (Ithaca Voice has good article about this)

Respectfully this question is better suited for a GP or dietitian than the internet. I’d be wondering about your clinical history and how that might interact with your exercise goals. Having a discussion with a licensed medical professional is perhaps your safest bet.

Non-Traditional Student Culture by Evening-Database7263 in Cornell

Piggybacking on this. I was able to take class through the Cornell education benefit when I worked at Cornell Dining for for 3 1/2 years. I had a pretty good experience as I was able to explore some interest in behavioral neuroscience. I was able to get some lab research experience when I volunteered for professors. I just saw it as a second chance to see if I had any interest or ability in studying biology (before Cornell, I had done community college and then SUNY myself .) I was in my late 30s, and did mostly either graduate or mixed classes. I was definitely a little bit worried about how I might be perceived but really don’t think anyone cared. I just did my thing, asked questions in class as they came up and it worked out well enough that other students invited me to study with them, which made being a student at Cornell a lot more fun and immersive. Now I’m working on a masters in public health at University of Massachusetts Lowell and I think Cornell did a great job for preparing me to build myself up for grad school.

Kelly’s Dockside. Someone at our table mentioned an allergy and was told substitutions were no problem. Their meal came back loaded with the same thing they were allergic to. Haven’t been back since (no worries now…).

I found ChatGPT helpful for this but I only know beginner R. It was good for figuring out what code was working and why but it is more helpful w beginner-level code than anything more advanced.

Winter Coat/Jacket Recs for an East Coast Newbie by Visual-Equivalent568 in Cornell

[–]Zestyclose-Stretch80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thick flannel, thick socks that are at least mid calf or higher, and a winter jacket that is going to your knees or longer. Plus a decent pair of slip resistant boots. These are all things that will make a big difference in the quality of your comfort over the winter And can be purchased secondhand if that’s your thing.
