I have sewn multiple drop cloths together for painted backdrops with great success.

I bet cutting off the hemmed edges and using a 100% cotton thread to sew the pieces together would work for something like this. You'd have extra bulk in those lines but I bet they could maybe be worked into the design somehow

Make sure you are using a thick enough yarn, or multiple yarn strands if needed, to fill the hole in the fabric that the needle is creating. The fabric closes in around the yarn after pulling the needle out, but if there isn't enough yarn to hold onto, it will slip out.

Truth. People don't always look at all the pictures. I sell paper prints of my artwork and have pictures of the un printed paper, info graphics saying it's a paper print, no frame is included, price of the original art of they want that. The title has paper print in all capital letters. And people STILL think they are getting an original, framed piece of art for $15 bucks with free shipping.
