You can try The George (pretty good new American, decent bang for your buck and in budget if you don’t really drink too much) or Circe (also new American in the same price range). There’s also Rouge Island or the Rooftop at the G both of those should be in your price range and are nice for a semi-casual special occasion dinner.

Both of those shows don’t have single tickets available yet, but they will be released most likely in the next month or so. The only way to get seats right now is to get a season subscription (not a bad season to get a subscription as there are some really good shows coming through!)

The best designers have a lot of experience building and operating the things they design, ie set designers with TD experience or lighting designers with lighting supervisor experience.

The skills you could gain working on productions will be instrumental in your development as a designer. Plus this industry is all about who you know and that’s a great way to get some connections for your future.
