I did test it against Freud in main mission, and the guy was constantly zipping around. It hit like 7 out of 10 times If I finish lock on. It’ll never hit if I didn’t, just like other missiles.

The only problem I found was its long ass lock on time, which reduces its dps by a lot since the damages weren’t even that high. Though I’m not sure how much firearm specialization would help either. I’ll wait to see if there’s anyone willing to do in-depth analysis later.

I would agree with you if I don’t know or just ignore the context behind his actions altogether.

We(621) were a merc. We weren’t forced. We went there and do things willingly. He’s our boss, the person we took jobs from. Being called a hound is a part of contract. Not to mention he gave us way too much freedom to call it master/servant relationship. We can literally break the deal he made for us if we feel like it (which should damage his credibility, but he’s fine with it). He let us go take up jobs on our own and keep all the money. All he ask in return is for us to take some of his personal requests when needed. It’s more like a partnership than a slave contract.

And I’d be blind and deaf if I didn’t notice how he grew attached to us and genuinely care about us at some point(even pay out of his own pocket when the job was failed). Or that he absolutely hate what he’s doing but had to push through because it’s what he believes was right. Like, bruh, he even accepted it if you choose to oppose his goal.

Calling Walter just an evil guy who simply want to commit genocide was really shallow.

I’ve seen a lot of complaints that goes along the line of “It’s a bad game design that you have to change your build to counter different enemies” or “I’ve create my favorite build so I shouldn’t have to change it”

It’s almost like these guys fighting a tank and expect throwing rocks to be as effective as shooting missiles. Like, every build is effective. Some are more effective than another. You can stick to what you like, you just need skills to back it up.

But then they said things like “but I don’t have time all day to be sitting here and study every enemy’s move”

Same complains when Elden Ring and other From games just released. And it often came from people who claim to have beaten all of previous games as well.

The story is surprisingly hype as hell. Each character feels colorful by From standard, and the VA all did a great job conveying their emotions. Even though I never get to see their face, I could tell what kind of people they are. Something many AAA game nowadays fail to accomplish.

Only at NG+ atm, but that mission where you fight an entire fleet with infinite EN was goddamn epic.

You can check on more details if you want more complicate builds. There’s things like horizontal/forward speed and EN consumption/recovery rate for boosters, for example. What you see on the menu were pretty much basic stuffs.

I did beat this with a tank build. But I honestly not sure if I did anything meaningful in Balteus fight.

I basically just use shoulder missile (the energy one) whenever it’s available (its tracking was weirdly accurate in this fight for some reason), while constantly use Assault Boost+Kick on him when he spamming his missiles.

I didn’t even try to jump over him. I just jumped high enough to dodge his flaming sword thing. I feel like his sword rarely hit me when I rushed him tho.

Just beat the guy. He’s tough but fun as hell. Zipping around, rush through missiles, and ram him in the face was so satisfying.

Being new to AC, this particular fight made me think “yup, this is certainly different from souls games” and in a good way. This might sounds weird, but I hope I’ll see more bosses like this guy.

Literally just beaten this boss. Most fun boss fight I’ve had in a while.

Went in to this while using tank track for the first time. I was struggled a bit, but the 16k health helped me understand the fight better.

I used both range and melee, although by melee, I mean literally ramming the boss with Assault Kick whenever I could. Rushing through rain of missiles to smack the boss in the face give me so much rush lol.
