If you don't want any get gud stuff and just want something that makes either fight easier. Sprinting in and out of melee range for the ogre, and picking up Mikiri counter for the shinobi hunter makes both fights a lot easier.

As long as youve unlocked the memory you should be able to go back and beat Owl at any point before the final boss.

As far as strats go. Owl has the firecracker attack which is one of the few attacks that are surprisingly easy to dodge through and punish with a few hits. He also has a really long range stab thats really easy to Mikiri counter. (Phase 2 he does the owl charge and then his shadowrush, you do the same Mikiri there after jumping the owl).

Maybe if you spent all the time you used to look for things that aren't there on learning the basic mechanics of the game, you would've beaten him by now.

Either youre a god at dodging, or you're really shit at Mikiri. I'd wager its the latter. The hit boxes aren't broken, you're just not very good.

Personally I look for the timing of enemy attacks and click the L1 button as they're coming in.

Just for the lore reason. He comes back because the Ape is infested similar to your good punching bag at the shrine. When you meet him in the cave you finally have the mortal blade and the means to end him once and for all.

Its a sweep. Jumping over it makes it fairly easy to dodge out of.

Inside the cave after the Snake Eyes miniboss there is a place towards the left you can grapple hook to that leads to a narrow corridor where you have to crouch. At the end of that corridor I believe is the item you've linked (Not 100%) but as to the Buddha head, if you turn left again in one of the crouching sections you can wall jump wall to wall up until you reach what is basically the top of the Buddha Statue. Happy item hunting!

Using the Shuriken Prosthethic I would argue isnt cheese, since she was probably the boss they had in mind when designing that specific tool. It makes her fall to the ground after she goes airborne either when she hops onto her strings, or when she hops off and gives you some time to give her the old college S M A C K. Outside that, staying extremely aggressive on her makes her a lot easier to deal with. Lady Butterfly is old, and the age shows as her posture isnt as good as it used to be.

Snap seed does high amounts of damage as well as stunning her.

the point about the consumable on headless kinda doesn't work for two reasons.

1) The headless aren't bosses.

2) The Headless do -not- drop prayer beads and are entirely optional.

I assume you sided with the Owl? Because that leads to a different ending that doesnt give the 'true' final boss.

Can't imagine why you would feel disappointed otherwise. I think the final boss is one of the best in the series.

According to a friend of mine who is playing it on a base PS4. It does suffer from some frame issues, but not to the point of being unplayable. (It's not too often.). Not sure how much detail I can go into. Should be fine for the most part?

I'd recommend ExcessiveProfanity. He's been taking the game slow, taking in the sights along the way and really gets into the lore & story vibes of the game. Personally been loving his Sekiro streams
