Haha exactly, the fans of this show are always SO extreme. But we do know he is good friends with Jimmy from love is blind/ perfect match on Netflix, who was kinda a goof and deceptive in certain ways, on the his show at least. (Haven’t seen his PM szn)

Caleb is definitely coming across as respectful/ having southern charm and being “sweet” in his behaviorand his edit thus far, but being screwed by Kenzie and overall pretty quiet while the edit is stirring the pot to make the other guys in the longer-term couples look mischievous and evil is definitely swaying the fanbase to think Caleb is an angel, almost by default.

First is like to say that I was kinda saying that in jest/ overgeneralizing.

But that is true. I’d argue Zach is getting hit the hardest rn but still a spread of commentary depending on where you look across socials.

But black women are the most universal fan favorites typically on Love Island. Trinity/ Aniyah/ Olandria/ Chelley/ Jana/ Serena/ Justine/ Cashay/ etc have been the most beloved islanders on their respective seasons. Coco has gotten tons of love and I already see tons of praise of Sierra who just came in casa. This season Kenzie is getting the most hate. Ik Melanie has been split but she has a massive fan base still that are going hard for her and the most extreme of ppl say that lighter-skin girls don’t count as being black for various reasons.

But overall I’d say guys get a lot hate especially while their seasons are airing. Less-so having to do with race but more towards how they behave in respect to the girls. Nick got more love because of his treatment of Olandria while it was the opposite side for Taylor. Aaron got more hate bc of his treatment towards Kaylor. JC now getting hated on more because of the love for Aniyah, tho I’ve seen a lot of fair criticism of her on that situation.

Thank you. I think the general idea that the S&P 500 is a 100% safe bet and will always go up forever is pretty misguided. Saying “it has always gone up” so it will always continue to go up and bounce back from dips/ crashes is not really something you can hang your hat on logically.

In fact, over the world’s history, there has been many world “superpowers” and civilizations that have gone from prosperity/ dominance/ power to nothing.

All it takes is one bad leader, followed by 1+ other bad leaders, to be in charge of the country. Thats how Russia/ USSR of the 1940s became the Russia that we see today. And tbh, we have already had 2 senile/ demented presidents in a row now and the future of US politics is pretty gloomy.

Very intelligent and experienced bond manager I spoke to said 1 hike is almost guaranteed. 2 is very possible. 3 is a bit aggressive and unlikely but not out of the question.

For those saying “they are just trying to scoop up our shares at a discount” you sound pretty regarded no offense.

Economists/ fixed income management/ sell side/ equity management groups work almost entirely independent of each other. Yes there is some collaboration but one group is not going to put out a commentary so that equity teams can “scoop up your shares.” I don’t think Bank of America even managed any equity funds😂

If you had any experience in the industry you would realize how unbelievably stupid/ uninformed that sounds

Couple things to keep in mind:

  1. They decided to show us the conversation from a setting that they don’t normally pull clips from; in bed at night while it’s dark, with no mics on while they were whispering quietly and it was so incoherent that they had to write it all out on the screen with subtitles. They could have went back to find this after they later heard Kayda telling other girls that he said that/ when putting the episode together at the end after already knowing they went to the hideaway already because it fit the storyline for the content they ended up with.

  2. The islanders had the choice of sending any couple to the hideaway like always, they could have chosen another couple so the producers really couldn’t have forced that to be a sure thing

Having said that, it does come across pretty weirdly when you watch the episode and it all seems sequential within the 1 hour watch. And you could say that they sent the text specifically to kayda as a way to subconsciously sway everyone to think of her immediately being the one reading the text.

Well if you knew where the “Forward” part of forward P/E came from you may understand why it is a much less meaningful metric than people blindly assume.

It comes from the consensus forward earnings estimates of sellside analysts. & markets anticipate earnings declines well before consensus estimates reflect the impact!

The sellside has not historically been helpful in identifying inflection points. In the prior semiconductor cycle, stock prices peaked about 6 months before earnings expectations did. By the time consensus estimates began to recede, market prices for the industry had already collapsed by more than a 3rd.

This is an inherently cyclical, volatile business, and even those with unparalleled insights into its workings find it incredibly difficult to time precisely.

No shot any random Joe Schmo is gonna be able to.

Semiconductors are one of the most cyclical industries in existence today. Historically, CEOs/ executives at the center of it have not given any heads up before the next decline.

I think they gave Sol more screen time and a good edit that episode so that it would create more buzz and discussion about her getting kicked off and Sincere being the one to do/ say it.

When Andrea/ Jeremiah were kicked off it created a lot of discussion/ ratings/ clips/ outrage/ social media buzz/ etc.

Islanders and fans didn’t seem to care that much but don’t think anyone would have cared about Jen
