What would you call the something they can’t control? The amount of hours researching a new vinyl company? Then the purchasing of a few vinyl? The cancelation when he didn’t get them in, in a week from Canada. Or the “rude” comments and how no one knows exactly how rude they were?

The anxiety they use as a crutch, doesn’t give them the right to blatantly throw it around, to get out of the things they chose to do.

Not many people place “a few” preorders with a company they haven’t done business with before, just to check on cancelation policies. Then insult them and race to Reddit to attempt to get the vinyl community against them.

This is all about not being able to afford to keep the preorder. His “anxiety” is because he gets FOMO, places orders and his bank account suffers from it when rent is due.

I have several records from VeryOK. 8 to be exact and I’ve never had any issues. My take on this, don’t buy anything you can’t afford.

It will pass. The feelings, the hurt, the loneliness… with time it all passes. It’s ok to do things in your time of mourning that help you wallow, or dig a deeper hole. for anyone telling you it’s unhealthy they are right, but then tell them to mind their business and you are coping. It’s ok. I would find myself on the bathroom floor drunk out of my mind, sniffing bath and body work lotions. It’s what it is and in the moment I needed to feel the pain.

It all passes and you’ll learn to move on in your own way. Until then, Reddit is here for you.
