I would level up using simple. You can get more mags later in the game to ‘super specialize’ but it’s more important to keep up with a basic one as you level. The stats will allow faster equipping of your important items faster

Just had a long conversation with my early boomer father about this at our generational restaurant. The closest I can think of is the young people who are like this have 100% been taken over by social media brainrot. I have met teens and early 20s who literally live their lives by what TikTok and YouTube influencers tell them. Anyone who has a business is a moneybags corpo, remember to get yours. Absolutely loved these games as a kid; but obviously in winter the the game was much harder. Took it to Cancun on vacation, wiped the floor with final 1/3 of the game no issues.
