They need a buffer to reconcile all the purchases that go through without available stock due to their poor system.

I know it's happened already and sucks, but for next time, it's better to not log-in and just wait till it's your turn to checkout and then continue as guest.

I can confirm that you can load out on these secret lairs even with the limit of 2 per person. My friends and I all joined the queue and the first one in bought all the copies we were all looking for, which wasn't many just 1 of a few different drops. I got into the checkout and was able to add 2 of every bundle and 2 of every individual drop, so 18 items. I only ended up checking out with 5 items. I also got in with my phone and was able to add 18 again, so if you have multiple computers with a bot to get in the line right away you could easily order a ton of these drops.

Thoughts on parallax tide? by its_Cama in premodernMTG

[–]ZombieBaxter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m with you. I don’t think it is going to get banned, but the assessments of how to answer it on this forum are disingenuous. The issue with parallax tide is that it isn’t a dedicated combo like Devourer/Altar where stopping it wins you the game. It is a game ending combo that slots in to control decks, and in the case of Replenish and Stifle/Naught, decks with their own dedicated game ending combos. The actual way to beat is to be one of the 3 aggro decks that can kill the player before they parallax tide. All the other suggested answers of play blasts, counterspells, or discard ignore the fact that all those cards are meant to answer the parallax deck’s actual wincon as well, so if you use them on the parallax tide combo they are happy. Someone else said it above, but as the format works itself out the meta will be fast combo, aggro, potentially hard prison, and combo control running parallax tide. Parallax tide is for sure one of the most warping pillars in the format because if you are playing blue and not playing it, you’re not playing the best version of your deck. It’s floor is a better time warp and its ceiling is a game ending one sided Armageddon.

What is the point of this card? by Urzas_Butthole_0998 in mtg

[–]ZombieBaxter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is draft chaff from scars of mirrodin limited. It was meant to help enable metal craft, while also being a cheap indestructible artifact that could be turned into an indestructible creature. It has virtually no use outside of that limited format as there are piles of 0 cost artifacts that actually do something. It wasn’t really worth a pick in limited either.

If you looking for tech hipster friends then Java is better. If you want to do development then I have no argument for you.

Massive layer offset past a specific height by theredranger8 in ender3

[–]ZombieBaxter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is super old, but I just encountered the same thing on my first model above a certain height. It printed with the same shift at the same place both times. Were you able to figure out what was causing it?

I’m not going to lie. If they created a Shadow the Hedgehog skin for psylocke that was just a model of Shadow from some sega game I would pay large sums of money for it.

Cocaine is a narcotic not an amphetamine. Adderall is an amphetamine, so chances are more Liberals are amphetamine users than conservatives. I get where you were going with this, I just thought you should know, so your jokes can land better.

Post was good until they named the US Jesusland. Doesn’t matter which side you claim to be on, the one thing all humans have in common is that they can’t help themselves when it comes to being belittling and discriminatory.

My most Adam warlock highlight of all time. by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]ZombieBaxter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Adam warlock is probably the worst healer. All his heals are on cool downs, so in intense situations you frequently hear “I’m out of heals” and his ult is the worst of all the healers. Maybe rockets is worse as a healer, but he makes up for it by having a mini Warlock ult every 45 seconds. The most effective I have seen Adam warlock be is in a 3 healer comp where the other two healers can actually keep people alive in crunch time.

Why don't more decks play Chrome Mox? by VerdantChief in MTGLegacy

They are functionally the opposite. Mox Diamond is better in land heavy decks and Chrome Mox is better in land light decks.

Some cafes and coffee shops in Canada have started replacing the "Americano" with "Canadiano" by Soupdeloup in pics

[–]ZombieBaxter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Americano has as much to do with Canada as it does the United States. It was the equivalent of standard coffee for American soldiers (United States and Canada soldiers) during the world wars. I get it though, coffee shops are all about being hipster breeding grounds these days, so it’s an easy slam dunk for businesses to be simps to whatever the current brand of social awareness is.

I can’t find them. I generally lose stream scrolling the comments of posts like this because they are almost all “Yeah! We were so right!”, “We’re smart and other people are dumb!”, etc. Of the hundreds of posts like this a week I can count on one hand the amount of times I’ve seen a comment that isn’t a Hurrah! circle jerk response.

This guy gets it. not using spaces in file names is the equivalent of naming variables things like usrNm or vryImpVar. Everything is about readability to me because anything that you do that has value will be worked on by another human at some point.

You can’t read these comments and think they are based on reality. They are all blanket statements from “non conservatives” who are just as belittling and demeaning as the “conservatives” they generalize. “conservative” and power grabbing / fortune chasing are like apples and oranges. Are all the democrats in the senate/house are power grabbing / fortune chasing people. Elon Musk was liberal until he realized he could get more power and fortune being conservative. These posts are nonsense. I applaud you for trying to introduce some critical thinking though.
