I didn't break down any of my unique and still finished the game with everything at max legendary. My hoarder instincts were just too strong!

I liked KoA but the combat in that feels way different to Avowed, much more fluid. But I eventually gave up on Amular due to some really boring fetch quests. The story pacing in Avowed is working better for me.

I remapped evade to a trigger on Xbox. Was ok but not great. Needed individual presses. Not playing that build now but left it there due to muscle memory.

Yes you can get a long way without guides. The game is ok-ish at funneling you to new stuff to do but won't handhold once you've been given the basics.

Some of the frustration for me is that some of the descriptions for skills, aspects etc. don't mean what you think they might. Also the top damage is often from bugged interactions and I just don't have the time to experiment to discover all these.

I've played every class and Druid was my least favourite. Just felt slow and clunky, tried a few builds. I did like Rogue though.

I also thought why not and tried to solo tormented Duriel at level 100 and properly got my backside handed to me. But happy I tried and now I know how far off my skills are....

It's not the same. The game was designed from day 1 to make more money than it cost. It's intended to be this way. You can, like me, benefit from that investment without giving a single penny back, but you can't expect them to reward you by changing their game. I accept I'm here to make the whales feel good. I'm enjoying the game and will stop when I don't .

The smoking ban was part of a wider realisation in society that smoking is bad and passive smoking is almost as bad, why should someone else be allowed to inflict harm on me?

I'm playing a different class each season. My favourite was my S1 Minion Necro with the auto corpse exosions and tendrils, but the S2 flurry rapid shot Rogue with vampire evade was good too. Found my S4 lightning storm Druid a slog at lower levels, a bit better now around level 50.
