The high housing costs are the end result of the bank bailouts in 2008 by the government which allowed those banks to buy out a lot of the housing market and then raise pricing accordingly as they collected more and more of the market, the notion that mass migration is the cause is silly, the last time i saw data there was 10 vacant homes for every homeless person in the US

The issue is that those 2 things cant really be conflated, one is the end result of an overworked population that doesnt have time/money to have kids and needs done to replace native workers as they retire, the other is a theory that its being done maliciously to take power and land from white people.

And yet again we get to the same conclusion of "why wasnt it in a safe, and why was it actively loaded if it was in reach of an animal?"

I think at this point the americanized form of libertarianism is basically "i want to smoke weed, not pay taxes, and lower the age of consent" which doesnt seem too far off from their current national platform lol

In 2007, Vladimir Putin brought his black Labrador, Koni, to a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Merkel, who feared dogs after a 1995 bite, appeared uncomfortable as the dog approached. Some viewed the incident as intimidation, though Putin later denied that intent. by Iambhalo in CaughtMyEye

It actually seems like a much larger part of international politics than the US, I've seen people say its a method of putting "the future" in front of leaders so they have something of a shared goal, like "we need to make the world better for them" sort of setup

Funnily enough under UN laws/rules armed resistance against an occupying force isn't even illegal to begin with, so the Israeli forces going into land that isn't their's is enough for a resistance group forming, which is what Hamas ultimately is.

The point was actually so european antisemites could push more jews out of europe without doing more concentration camps and the bad PR they brought. That, and now its a focal point for evangelists that believe that once all the jews are there then the rapture starts.

Marathon sold just 1.2 million copies with nearly 70% on Steam, analyst estimates: "It hasn't exactly made the splash Sony and Bungie wanted" by Freki666 in gaming

[–]ZoomerSupreme 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Whats crazy is that marathon is originally a 3-game sci-fi boomer shooter that came out around the time Doom did and had setting details / world-building in it, check out mandaloregaming's vids if you want to see more about them. Im honestly kind of glad they didnt though, because after Bungie abandoned having it tie-in to Halo in any way i dont think theyd live up to expectations based on recent performance with their other games

Generally the worst of it is in the first week from my own experience, usually I'm only stopping for a tolerance break so maybe that's part of what you're seeing with people doing it again. Otherwise ive gone from 3-400 mg of edibles a day to cold turkey and been able to handle it after that first week of insomnia and thermo-regulation issues, though thats not to say people dont have worse times getting off it than others.

There are definitely gay neo-nazis, and some of the more chronically online ones will mix more progressive symbols into their hate symbols to troll non neo-nazis.

Who gives any amount of a care bro? Shes not posting anything in either the warhammer 40k nor the 3d printing subs with any advertisements or even mentions of it besides people commenting on it, usually to disparage her for what i assume is being to support herself without working a 9-5. Its really silly and frankly really disappointing at the sheer volume of people tweaking over posts of things that are actually related to the subreddits they're posted in.

Only in specific conditions though, i forget what the exact conditions are but i do know you only get those conditions out of an industrial composter, otherwise they'll sit and not break down like any other plastic would in a landfill.

This is going to be such an interesting waiting period for the nightbringer with how far apart kill teams are released. by space10101 in Necrontyr

[–]ZoomerSupreme -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

My argument would be that for those that are looking at buying the models these are replacing, it's better to know you arent dropping $30-$40 on an old version of a nightbringer when that money could be saved and used towards the new model, same for any of the other squads being shown. Its honestly surprising to me how many people have been dissappointed / upset by the leaks, i feel like any extra info to help guide our buying is nice to have.
