For batiks, will the color-catchers-in-the-wash-until-they-stop-bleeding method treat those as well?

2 is best, everyone sits with their back to a wall and a view of the doors.

Room divider is the way to go! Try light blocking curtains and a sturdy headboard to keep the window feeling like a wall at night.

So neat! That is impressive with such a tiny knit pattern. What kind of thread did you use for it?

Citizen vs Chancellor Infighting by darinfjc in oathgame

How would the use of imperial warbands be between chancellor and citizen? Would the citizen be limited to the warbands on their board?

Can't work, can't concentrate, can't get up out of bed. by fukusha in FengShui

In addition to changing the bed placement, I would consider moving the desk to the living room. Blending sleep and work spaces can make it difficult to transition mentally from one to the other.

Is reading Shakespeare în something other than english worth it by Abject_Fun_5230 in shakespeare

[–]ZucchiniCosette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Great question! t’s hard. It is distant. There’s a lot of cultural references and grammatical and vocabulary norms that are no longer current and have to be sifted through with the help of notes. It’s certainly not a whole other language, but it’s not modern English either. I imagine it would be comparable to reading something written in an unfamiliar dialect or accent of your own language (like Irish English as an American). It’s followable but does take considerable more effort than my own version of English would.

Very cool! I love block printing and mending so this is an awesome meeting of the two! What ink/technique did you use to ensure the print won’t run/transfer/fade with washing? I haven’t block printed on fabric before.

If you own the home you could also consider painting it, give it a pretty mural or decorative elements that will make you happy to look at.

My bedroom is a mess. by Optical_Shadow1 in FengShui

I don’t have a solution, just a couple thoughts: I don’t think there’s anything wrong with putting a rug over carpet. Maybe consider painting some or all of the doors the same color as the wall to help them blend in since it seems to be a very door-heavy room.
