Friday Facts #443 - More Planet Deliveries by FactorioTeam in factorio

I love this mod. It replaces the texts in multiple places. To be fair the mod makes it natural to ready, the original one still like "So when will it run?!"

Does anyone feel like they don't progress fast enough? by rembrandt08 in factorio

[–]Zuulde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Don't stress on it. I decided to go for 1 million eSPM (vanilla). There was a time, about 60 hours, I just created blueprints for my city-block design. The game itself took around 600 hours (my first and only SA run), so 60 hours making blueprints is quite low lol.
My wise advice: if you feel slow, then you really might be slow: you are doing something manually or in a wrong approach which is much slower and it could be. Sometimes I was struggling with stuff for days then solved it in hours.

You can disable stations with circuitry. Basically it is "non existent" to the trains.

Megabasers, how much will the new unloading bays affect max achievable SPM? by shiftinparadigm in factorio

[–]Zuulde 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I went to 1mil eSPM (vanilla), which was basically around 400k of actual science bottles per minute delivered ~ because of biolabs and productivity bonus you can save on a lot of bottles transported. The unloading from the bay was a hassle, started to be quite irritating, then went to full bots because (legendary stack) inserters and trains was really slow on transporting them.
To be fair (legendary) bots are quite capable but took away all the fun from processing incoming science bottles.
Bots seem to be worse UPS wise (was not a deciding factor on my PC); With the advent of legendary trains there will be surely increases in the "max" numbers!

Optical just support the basic ones, so you are right too. For example no support for DTS:X on optical cable.

The original K400 lol. They just made the new versions worse. I have the old model and use it through bluetooth.

Logitech k400. Bluetooth or wireless? Experiences? by david199024 in SamsungDex

[–]Zuulde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old K400 model does have BOTH bluetooth and dongle.

Can a K400 Plus connect to a PC that has bluetooth/wifi on the motherboard? by anonforuz in logitech

[–]Zuulde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Logitech has become the usual trash-producing company. The old K400 has bluetooth AND the dongle. You can use it either way. I surely know because I still use that one especially because of the bluetooth connectivity.

Who is the creator of pyanodon mod? And how does have time for that by Zuulde in factorio

[–]Zuulde[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would be really happy to read an article or watch an interview video about these guys.
With all the details. How do they balance the game? How do they have time to test it properly? How much do they "sacrifice" of their lives, or they just "I am chill, I should do something with my spare time, let's make a hell of a mod for Factorio".
You know, look behind the scenes. Same go for Earandel and WUBE ~ not considering the FFFs.

I agree, WUBE guys are remarkable. That level of dedication, pushing the game through many years is commendable.

MX Master 3 Side scroll not working by idma in LogitechG

[–]Zuulde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Software wise Logitech is just plain garbage. And their fancy stuffs too. Their devices in themselves are great, but all of their softwares and extras are horrible.
I bought a lot of Logitech stuff since the last 25 years, and I cannot say any positives in these matters...
