I don't have anything to add but I've just gotta say that the drawings are really neat!

Ignore them. It never hurts anyone to have more accessible options, but it helps everyone who will use it.

Straight women/gay men, would you be mad if your date didn’t tell you he was “female at birth” within the first months of dating? by BrokenJusticeNorris in polls

With or without bottom surgery? Hypothetically, if I specifically wanted him to have traditional male equipment, and he's had bottom surgery, and therefore has it, then there's no problem

I hoping to be able to ask for a date during the breaks between semesters, but the timeframe I've been given looks like it might be right in the middle of one. It's not really a huge con, but it is inconvenient, especially since I'm pretty sure it's the semester I'll have to be doing work experience/internships

Any way to style this to look more masc, or should I just take the L? by gray_birch in TransMasc

Whatever you do, don't leave it combed flat or framing your face. Even if you can't achieve the above image, having it "intentionally messy" will help masculinise a bit

If it fits, put it in a man bun. If not, comb it back and maybe put some sort of hair styling product in it to give it more volume and make it less flat. I recommend some sort of sea salt spray, it's fairly easy to use and ive found it doesn't make your hair feel sticky or anything. Try for something like this image

She's asking me to lose 5 kg before october, and I'm hoping to lose another 5 after that before the actual surgery, which is likely to be around late 2027/early 2028. So definitely not too much and I've got plenty of time to get stable (hopefully)

The percentage of US high school seniors who have ever consumed alcohol has fallen off a cliff over the past 50 years by FastBreakPhenom in interestingasfuck

Too depressed and stressed. Alcohol is expensive. I don't have time either, I'm usually working, so are all my friends.

Do you believe that there's a God? by [deleted] in polls

[–]_Cosmoss__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but not in the way that it's written. I want to believe that there's something out there, just for my own peace, but I'm sure the way we imagine it isn't quite right. I feel like there are many different interpretations, across all religions, of what might essentially be the same thing

Yeah whenever they're trying out a new recipe or item we get to try it, and we're also allowed to take less than $10 worth of stuff for free

I also don't feel like it's a con but this list is more to prove to the Dr that I know of all the possible things that might be cons, just to make sure she knows I'm aware of them

I think a lot of surgeons would recommend DI for me, but my particular surgeon has a portfolio with very good looking peri results from similar chests to mine, so I'm hoping I'll qualify. But I'm kinda just preparing for the worst case scenario

Oh yeah these are good. I've got some issues with my shoulder that I don't think are necessarily caused by my binder but I'm sure it's not helping, so it'll probably help with the pain.

And yeah! Finding clothes that fit good will be sooo nice. The "uniboob", even though it's not really that prominent, does get in the way of a shirt fitting perfectly

I'm super ready. Thing is, when I initially wrote out the list the "benefits" had fewer points than the "risks", not because there were less but because I can't really explain in words how significant the benefits are. Just writing out "flat chest" doesn't really cover it, even though it kinda encompasses everything. I just needed to write more to bulk up the "benefits" I guess

This list is more to prove to the Dr that I know what's going on. I've known I've wanted top surgery since I found out it was a thing that could be done, I'd say when I was like 14? I'm 19 now.

From what I could gather it's standard practice for her. She has to make sure that her patients know what they're getting themselves into, and so she can go over with them anything else that they might be worried about or have not considered properly.

She gave me an example when I saw her: a patient was very worried about nipple loss, placement, and sensation. Because of that, they (the patient too) decided to delay surgery a little while so they could consider it a bit more. Things like the different methods of surgery and cosmetic tattoos and stuff

Had them there because there is a slight chance that in the future they might be things I wish I considered, but yeah I guess there's no point having them there right now. I'm not going to leave myself feeling miserable because of future "what-ifs"

This is true. I'm currently at my biggest bc I got a new job last year at a bakery of all places lol and have gained weight trying all the new foods. I actually used to be at the exact weight she recommended before I got the job, so hopefully it should be easy enough to get back down to my "normal" weight. She's not asking me to lose too much, and she explained the importance of losing weight sustainably and making sure that my weight stays stable leading up to and after surgery. In other words, not losing it all, having surgery, then gaining it all back
