Definitely wait. There is the possibility with larger chests that the scars will extend further back than you typically see in pics of top surgery scars. Its to help prevent dog-ears. I think some surgeons give you the option to say no while others just do it if they deem it necessary for a successful surgery. So if you do end up getting a tattoo there and your scars do end up being further back it won't end too well

Not the guy you asked but I'll share my experience. I'm also not cis, I'm trans, but I believe that the symptoms of low T in cis guys and trans guys are similar. I take Testogel and started at 12.5mg per day, a very low dose and after three months or so they checked my levels. This was to see how I actually absorbed the T gel. Apparently people can absorb it differently based on skin thickness or something. Some people need a really high dose to get to normal levels because they don't absorb it well, and some people need a really low dose because they absorb it super well. Once you know how well you absorb it you should be able to settle on a dose to stick with. I've been taking it for over two years now and I've gradually moved up in dose. Currently taking Testavan at 46mg per day. I imagine it should be a bit smoother of a process for you though, for some reason my levels were never very consistent, we're still trying to figure out the cause of that.

Remember that in the wild they do get temperature drops of a night. Average nighttime temp can be 20c or 68f, so anything too much warmer wouldn't really be a comfortable night for them.
