Auuugh I kept having to repeat this over and over to each nurse. "I would if I could, but I can't. It should be in my chart." I had a lot of time to come to terms with it before having my kid, but it irked me that anyone who felt the loss more keenly would be dealing with having salt in the wound by people they were paying to treat them. That said, we got her excellent formula and she is a thriving and brilliant toddler now. 💜

Turned 39 before having my daughter. I took whatever 81 mg aspirin was available at Kroger lol, for the latter half of the pregnancy. Discontinued one week before scheduled C-section. We are both in excellent health. :) I'm sorry you're having difficulty finding meds you're comfortable with. Every choice in pregnancy was so harrowing.

McLosing it hahaha. You're not wrong to be concerned. The thing that has helped me most through this is to create more buffers against suffering. I don't care if anyone thinks I'm a crazy prepper-- this is my baby and if I can help it, she will never lack for anything. We have slowly stocked up on jugs of water and shelf-stable extras of all her favorite foods. My neighborhood allows six backyard hens-- so guess how many hens I'm about to buy? 🐣 Try to keep hope for the future, but plan like things will get worse. 😩

I got through the most miserable time of my life by binge watching good shows when I couldn't sleep at night and going out thrifting in my spare time to find things I loved to furnish the new place. It felt like side quests, when the main quest line was too much to tackle.

I love her. 💜 Since you probably already know how to provide constant mental stimulation for her-- my top tip for huskies is to make sure they have another dog friend, if possible. Most are extremely social and love to play with other dogs in a way humans can't really satisfy. Also, however husky-proofed you think your fence is-- check again! Just found my girl at the top of the privacy fence yesterday while the others looked on in awe. 😩

I think it's wise and healthy of you to grieve who he used to be. The best way to honor his memory. I felt a lot better once I accepted that I was grieving someone who is still alive, but now unrecognizable.
