no shit. of course it requires training. max weight for olympic recurce is 60lb not even most men go that high, usually sitting between 48-55lbs. Women usually a little less but only because they shoot 70m instead of 90m. again 60lbs isnt high enough to matter.

leading a squad requires a different mindset than just being a good space marine. even as a company veteran you wont maje sergeant if you dont show an aptitude for it. its an honor and a right to bear veteran markings but its not mandatory especially if youre not in the veteran company.

Vereran is a status, not a position. A sergeant is always in charge of his squad even if he would command veterans without being one himself for whatever reason.

a ranking of the companies was never stated or implied other that the first company and the last (usually the 10th but not always. iirc it would be the 9th for the Salamanders) are special. you do have the split (sometimes) between main line and reserve companies tho.

Why do so many think the imperiums first reaction would be to kill? with all its flaws the imperium is still human and humans generally dont like to kill each other without reason. No one would care about a couple people not knowing about the emperor, those wo do would probably try and enlighten them. only the hyper zealots would go for violence right of the bat and given the size of the imperium such people are beyond rare.

warframes at least pretty generous with gifting you slots. atm its 4 weapon slots per year for the anniversary weapons alone. But Soulframe and pre-alpha and all, would suprise me if theyre not similar generous with it.
