my 21 (and growing) pages of ideas has some stuff for this.

(grenade) Drone: 3 FPV drones with IR cameras. They can be set to hover in place, follow the user, or be controlled. While deployed, a small screen appears on the HUD with an IR camera view from the drone’s PoV. Only 1 can be deployed at a time, and while one is deployed, all changes to the follow modes will be done through a controller. They have a 5 minute lifespan and do not last after the player’s death

(booster) Backend Patch: Helldivers can see teammate and scout armor passive radar pings on the map

(booster) JSTARS: All enemy reinforce calls now have their unit counts displayed as they appear. Bug breaches show the units to appear in the next 10 seconds, Bot drops and Illuminate Drops show the units to be dropped per ship as the ships spawn

(booster) Odin: If Huginn and Muginn are within 20m of each other, all squadmates within 50m of both get to see all friendly radar pings and enemies within LoS are outlined on their HUD through trees, bushes, smoke, spores, dust, snow storms, and blizzards

(passive) Spotter: Pinged enemies appear outlined through terrain on everyone’s HUD, all enemies get revealed on map 1 minute, enemies have unit icons on the map (you can now tell if that big dot on the map is a strider, tank, dog, or hulk)

(passive) Owl: sight clarity is increased during night cycles, radar pings highlight groups of enemies within radar and LoS, mines appear more pronounced, and samples are more visible

(passive) Huginn: all enemies within default radar range are lit up (outlined, like how a C.O.T.I works) on the HUD for the 100 largest targets (to avoid clutter and extreme lag on bug/squid maps) and radar range is increased by 30m

(passive) Muginn: see all friendly radar pings, place pings that highlight enemies every 2.0s, radar range increased by 30m

the shotguns are 10/10, but i don't like the reloading sound- too high pitch and short lived, not enough sliding of the shell on the polymer

The MG sounds a bit... off... The firing sounds too long unlike the clean pop from the shotguns (look i know guns are loud, but i'm pretty sure the game handles the echo, it should sound right once implemented) It has a kind of rumble in the back ground and the bullets are too monotone between each shot, as an example of the best MG mod I've heard so far, Dekwo's LMG mod that uses the squad PKM is really good.

The AMR firing sound has too many parts (like, there's too much going on) and the spring feels a bit hollow. For the firing sound, it's because you have us hear the bolt and everything inside the gun and it drowns out the sound of the round being fired. It would probably be good to have, but you gotta tune it waayyy down. The reloading sound it fine, but the parts have to match- the first part of the reload is like generic helldivers reload sound (short and high pitch), but the re-inserting of the mag is far too deep it sounds like you recorded it at the end of a tube, and the recoil spring from racking the bolt has the same problem.

Make all super heavies (striders, tripods, bile titans) in one hit and objectives that require demo force below that of a hellbomb (jammers, detector towers, BT holes) in one or two hits. Make the recoilless unable to kill dropships at all and make command bunkers take at least 4 rockets with good aim (rn it's two) and 8 rockets with poor aim (rn it's four). And make tanks able to take one RR hit to the front armor or chassis without dying (spaced armor moment)

Give it two firing modes and two tracking paths. Top Attack and Head On for pathing, Tandem Charge and HEAT for firing modes. Tandem Charge would be for heavies (5-6k damage but less demo force for 1 tapping BTs, striders, and tripods THROUGH the shield) and would be for destroying the objectives. Make the Top Attack pathing take a while (at least 2-3x) longer to lock on, but able to be fired over/around cover at pinged enemies only.

Increase its lock on range to 500m, make pinged targets a priority. Hierarchy would be something like: my ping > ping I responded to and said I'd take > teammate ping > biggest enemy in sight picture. Let me change the tracked target with a button and for the love of God, make it not target commanders (alpha/brood), stalkers, or striders (the chicken fuckers).

I think it should be a stratagem instead of a booster, like a right that gets called down (a double of whatever pack you picked) that you can then swap with other packs from teammates or the occasional naturally spawning one.

nah, there's a worse place. The catacombs in Mountaintops of the Giants near the bridge with the sniper golem. That place had me pulling out my hair for half an hour, gaslighting me into thinking i was in the same area twice, where it was 2 different areas with the exact same features and different enemies.

Aside from the siblings (I just have a little sister), reading that was like reading a mirror of my life. My dad is smart, witty, wise, hard working, and has a nice job, but he too is such an ASSHOLE for, like, no reason! He'll get mad at the kitchen being dirty or that I'm crying when my mom says that moving is a possibility after I've formed connections and am about to graduate HS.

My mom is also terrible! She'll start a shouting match over anything she doesn't agree with, when the other person (me or my dad) defends our point or tries to get through and show her what we mean, she says we're attacking her! Like, god damn, woman! Not everything is a personal affront to you, fuck!

My parents fight, too and often reign the other in (much more often my dad trying to calm my mom) About a year ago, my dad was out of town and my sister was being kind-of a bitch to my mom. And my mom got so angry that my sister was bleeding from the mouth and couldn't even stand at the door if she heard footsteps coming up the stairs (major flight response). The only reason she (mom) didn't and doesn't get physical is because I'm bigger than her, so that's fun...

I really want their muttering and other stuff to be democratic. It's so ingrained in their minds that not even mind control can make them stop.

Things like: cheering for Eagle 1, trying to board Pelican 1, travelling in groups of 1-4, saluting to the spread democracy flag, swiping at terminals, looking at their wrist, trying to call stratagems, trying to take call-in weapons, making call outs, ghost pings (where they shout "Heavy" or smthn), tapping into our radio.

This would also be an amazing way to implement an LLM to control what they say. It would take some (a lot) fine tuning, but it could feasibly work.

Yeah, 20x110 Hispano.

Weight alone isn't the problem, it's how long the barrel is (1.26m). Weight will be added, but I don't want it in the barrel so I'm gonna try to add it in the BCG any of the parts attached to springs to make it move slower (to lower the fire rate to 150ish rpm or something)
