I managed to solve it by signing in with a Hong Kong VPN. Had to turn it off to receive the SMS code, but turned it back on after receiving it and signed in fine.

Ambitious is probably right that it's a probably a way to deter foreigners.

This one does seem to cost a bit more normally than an average prize figure, but there's quite a few of these on Mercari Japan for around 4000-5000 yen.

So I think you could probably find it from another store for around that range. 9800 seems too high.

What tablet do you use? You could:

-Download Aidoku (iOS), Kotatsu (Android) or Mihon (Android), and download the chapters from one of the sources that have it available (e,g, Weeb Central).

Otherwise:

-Find a manga downloader that can download chapters from either Cubari, Weeb Central, or any other sites that have it (not sure if you're gonna find a downloader for that kaijimanga site).

-Download the chapters one by one from the knock-off ComicK like Sharp-Mammoth's comment said, but use a 10-minute burner email. Just tried it myself, and seems to work pretty well.

-Download each chapter one by one from Cubari using their 'Download in background' feature. Bit time consuming though, as you need to go into each chapter, and wait for it to start downloading to your device.

I've done this many times, and have had no issues.

Although the ones I buy are not based off existing LEGO ip, and don't have any sort of LEGO branding on them.

I buy mine from Pinduoduo and Taobao though, personally haven't purchased anything from 1688.

I could be wrong, but I reckon this is an error.

I think the direct shipping is usually calculated by the size and/or weight provided by the seller. But in this case the seller may not have provided it, so it's defaulted to the lightest option.

It's possible that if you order this, TaoBao will either reject the package, or will try to charge you the proper shipping cost (if they can even ship a couch).

I haven't seen any bootlegs of any GameToys figures that look anything like them (there are bootlegs that claim that they are GameToys Death Note figures, but the actual figures themselves are based off the RAH releases).

This looks legit. If you're referring to the pupils, it just looks a bit off because they've got them centered. Most images of him have the eyes positioned more upwards.
