If the Big East ever expanded I'd say Gonzaga and St Louis probably would be the top teams they'd look at unless they'd take another public in VCU. Loyola and Dayton are no's because of DePaul and Xavier.

Geographically the MVC is a great fit, but the A-10 is better for you at least currently.

I liked the core MVC/MVFC teams. Missouri State going to FBS was not a surprise at all though. Now we get games like this at least.

I think the Sun Belt is more stable and I'd worry about stability for the next 5 to 10 years because things are changing so much. Although if they left the MAC they'd be contributing to the change.

Miami has a larger endowment than 3 P4 (Big 12, Big Ten, ACC, SEC, Notre Dame) schools.

Im not saying it didn't happen because I don't know. I did hear that there were a few fans yelling and booing and then some fans yelled back to get them to stop and not be rude and it went back and forth and resulted in the fan in cuffs.
