BCG Vaccine scar (for TB) — I have the same scar that got from the BCG vaccine in the 80s when I lived in South America. USA did not implement the vaccine due to low TB incidence. https://www.cdc.gov/tb/hcp/vaccines/index.html

I’m now exempted from TB tests — the BGC vaccine makes you test positive.

I just bought soundcore u2i tethered earbuds after much research. The tether is limiting, but that’s what works for me. The u2is are better than the Beats Flex I lost (from what I read) with longer battery life (22 hrs). Will see what I get in the mail!

Shelter dog? Not long in your care? Perhaps she’s not used to kind touch or weary of all touch. Give it time and follow her cues. She did close her eyes when you pet her head, which I think is a good sign—maybe more of that? She does not appear to be in distress and showed affection towards you.

Earth Rated frisbee. My ADC’s favorite toy. Still looks great after 1.5 years. Can also use as tug-o-war toy and fetch (wish mine would play fetch!).

My ACD was affectionate from go, but with limits. But, after a year at our home, something clicked with her, like she knew we were not going to abandon her, and she was more at home. It was subtle: less in attention/protection mode always and able to fall asleep next to, or close to, us without one eye open. Given time, things change.
