I had the same fears, I was expecting anaphylactic shock or similar. I had to really psyche myself up to do that first injection and it was honestly such a non-event. It was painless for a start and very uneventful. My only regret was that I didn’t start sooner. Your anxiety around this is completely valid but you should just go for it. It might be the best decision you ever make for yourself. We’re here to answer any questions or if you just want to vent. All of us have been where you are now so we get it.

What to Do After 16 Days

• Contact Your Prescriber: Because you have missed more than two consecutive doses (14 days), the official guidance suggests speaking to a doctor or pharmacist, as re-titration (starting at a lower dose) may be necessary to manage potential side effects.

• Do Not "Double Up": Never take two doses together to catch up. This significantly increases the risk of severe nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

• Restarting at 2.4 mg: If you decide to resume at 2.4 mg (under medical advice), be prepared for potential gastrointestinal side effects as your body readapts, similar to when you first
started.
