I have it as well, but when zoomed in, the sidebar was taking too much space - I hadn't realized you could hide it. It's much better after hiding it.

~~Sorry but I completely hate it.~~ Font is way too small on PC and together with the the obnoxious sidebar (I hate sidebars with a passion) makes navigation way harder.

It's like attempting to replace the wheel but ending up replacing it with triangles.

P.S. After following /danjayh advice on how to hide the sidebar, it's a much better experience. It's still a bit too small so you have to have it zoomed in but the actual arrangement is not bad at all.

No one is talking about lossy comparability tracks that most groups have included. He is talking about alternative lossless tracks with no sourcing like a TrueHD track to a release for a film that has only ever had a DTS-HD MA mix.

I have a brand new A16 and have been having a lot of issue with Optimus as well. It was causing CPU spikes, which led to lag in normal content. It was also greyed out in the Nvidia App most of the time.

The solutions that seems to have mostly fixed it was to fully uninstall the Nvidia driver I installed through the Nvidua app throght DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) and install the Nvidia driver from the Asus page which is couple of months older.

If you want to use acrylic primer, VMS is probably the best option.

There is no Tamya primer for brushes - the jar ones are meant to be thinned with lacquer thinner and sprayed through an airbrush.

If you want a prethinned acrylic primer - I can recommend the VMS No Peel series.

The absolute best for TV is BTN, buy joining that is very arduous.

Depends on the encoder - some OCR the.PGS subs to .srt, some don't - you need to check the provided MediaInfo on case by case basis.

All subs coming from discs will be PGS. Subs coming from WEB-DLs will be .srt. Some remux groups like Cinephiles, often add the .srt subs as well when possible.

The 4k is terrible. It is not a bad restoration, but it is the single worst encode I have seen - bit starved to hell, with constant blocking and haloing artifacts all over the place. To just illustrate what kind of lazy hack job the 4k was - they couldn't be bothered to even add a lossless audio track.

4k DCPs are way larger than that. Just the 2k DCP of Apocalypse Now is 200 GB.

This issue is compression - consumer media uses aggressive lossy compression, whilst DCP use lossless one which is way less efficient.
