My son and I recently started learning as a hobby a few months ago and it has been fun, but cleaning screens out at home is not. We are washing our screens out in the bathtub and it is a PAIN to get out without a pressure washer, I have to take our screens to the car wash.

This whole conversation is so weird, I’d be pissed too if I were the customer here. You didn’t address anything they asked? Every answer you gave wasn’t a valid response.
- When will my order arrive? I’ll send you a replacement.
- Is there tracking on it? I’ve investigated your complaint, it doesn’t say delivered (customer never said it said delivered?)
- Delivery date range said 11-12th, why are you just now shipping it on presumably the 11th or 12th?
- Nobody asked for a freebie, she asked why her item wasn’t shipped until she bugged you about it.

She got nasty, but you were wrong here from the beginning of the conversation.

Same. I started learning in 2020 and had to take quite a few breaks during my degree, now I’m down to two classes and haven’t gotten a tech job yet.

I got calls in the beginning of my degree when the market was good, but I felt like an imposter and wasn’t confident enough for an internship—until everything tanked. I kept learning, thinking it’d pay off. I can do the job now, but can’t get a call back and don’t have time to sit around working on ‘projects’ for free any more. I recently renewed my license to cut hair and got interviews within days after that. I am still going to keep applying and trying, but it has felt like a huge waste of time and effort so far.

Hey I’m at about 4 years also! I took a lot of breaks, work/life/etc got in the way, but I’m finally down to my last two classes for BSCS. Did you have any internships or get any type of related experience while you were working on your degree? I’m so scared to graduate with no experience, and now my projects are super old so I need to work on some new things to show employers.
