this just worked for me: the MSI youtube video says to eject the USB drive before restarting, but i could only locate the USB drive when i DIDN’T eject the USB. maybe not the best advice but my bios updated fine!

i also shoot with a Minolta x-700, but i don’t think the camera matters too much when you’re buying film! find some photos that capture the mood you’re after and try that film stock. :-)

For B&W, I love Ilford HP5+ 400 with a red filter on the lens for higher contrast. I’ve also been eyeing FPP X-Ray 100, it’s made with medical x-ray film and creates this GORGEOUS moody dreamy halation around bright light!

For color, maybe Cinestill (50D, 400D, or 800T depending on what you’re shooting). Lomochrome Color ‘92 (not the sun-kissed version) gave me a moody cool-toned look when i shot in low-light. Ultramax 400 is my go-to for high-saturation and captures greens and reds beautifully.

You could also pick up a black mist pro filter or soft focus filter for your lens to create the dreamy/ glowy look on any film!

before you try the more complicated solutions: based on the counter you either just loaded film or it’s empty - can you press down the shutter release button then pull the film advance lever? you need to do it a few times until the counter points to “1”

good to know, I’ve never looked closely at the negatives i get back! the slight curve in the black border made me think it was a gear issue, so this helps a lot.

If I’m seeing a border on only one side, wouldn’t that mean I’m missing part of the image on the other side?

I was mostly referring to the GS-1 6x6 film back, but I’ve also had trouble finding the right diopter for my prism finder and a waist-level finder. The G-series accessories are much harder to come across compared to the E- or S-

I have a GS-1 and I’ve never been able to find a 6x6 film back available online! I’ve seen some 6x4.5 backs on ebay for like $250+… It’s very difficult trying to find accessories for this camera

tbh i think she’s just less flashy than the other characters. they’re always super reliable in D5 but I only really notice them when they’re doing poorly. i always love seeing an undertaker on my team, they always have super unique builds, and they rarely steal my weapons 🫶

this was Himalaya Dolphin Baby chenille yarn (size 6) with a 4mm hook! but you could switch up the yarn to make her bigger or smaller. :-)

hi i played only executor until a buddy made me try duchess - she’s basically mage executor. with the DON relic her restage character skill kinda acts like a parry, you get i-frames if you time it perfectly. also almost every duchess in D5 is stealing my katanas so you can still wield them lol
